Little Back to School Haul

Hello! I bought some things awhile ago, and did a video on it, but never blogged about it, and as I was cleaning up my room, I found this bag of goodies that I forgot to share... it's a little haul that I bought from JCP. Hope you like!

Plaid button up, I'll probably pair this with jean shorts or skinny jeans, or maybe even a denim skirt with my new boots I got from Makemechic.com!

Also a butterfly-sleeve shirt by Decree. Just a plain blue. I already featured this shirt in one of my outfits of the days. :)

Some cute sandals. I don't own a pair of grey flip flops like these, and they were on CLEARANCE!! Plus they're super comfy..

Along with a pair of blue sandals.. :)

Photobucket

I love love this light weight scarf. It cost me a whopping $5.00. It'll be perfect for transitioning into fall. Can't wait to wear it with like a denim jacket or a white dress or white jeans would look nice with it. :)

And I saved the best for last:

Shoe Haul/Ring Haul/Random Haulage

Hello!! Sorry for the lack of updates, if you follow my youtube account you'll know I've been working on getting my financial aid together for my classes. I thought everything was complete when I handed everything in in MARCH... Guess not, lost a lot of my classes, and was stressing out over it... :( But everything is all back together. I have some of my classes back, missing 2 because of course now they're filled, but I'm hoping I can get them back before school starts... BUT ANYWAY... I thought I'd shoe a very random haul today... I've been buying shoes out the butt lately because I absolutely love fall shoes and boots... it's true love... so I thought I'd share shoes I've gotten in the past 2 weeks...

Here's, of course, my YouTube video of it:

$3.00 from Claires or Icing I forget.. lol

$18.50 from Makemechic.com

I absolutely loves these because they kind of remind me of cowboy boots... I can't wear high heels because of my height, so I always opt for flat shoes.. and since these are flat and remind me of cowboy boots I needed them.. lol

$10 sandals... just like my white Bakers ones..

$18 boots from Alloy.com

And then I went to this place where I live.. called Hometown... it's basically a farmers market/flea market, where they sell all kinds of goodies... a lot of fake handbags and such, but I managed to find some cute rings to add to my collection and of course other random goodies...

Here's the video for that:

And pictures...

Photobucket

I've always wanted a pink TI-84 calc... but I have the silver one... so I'mma try this and see how this works out haha

Fake bumpits haha

And then the boyfriend and I decided to get a hotel suite with a HEART jacuzzi at Mount Airy... it was beautiful and it was a good time. We both had 2 days off together so we headed up there for the 2 days... it was nice... and while I was there I did a outfit of the day for going out to the casino...

It's kind of funny because my boyfriend actually recorded this for me and I apologize for it being shaky and I was laughing at first because when he pressed record... he said "GO!" lol Like he was filming an action packed movie or something.. so that's why I was laughing at first, and you could see our heart shaped jacuzzi in the video as well:

Ok, I hope that whoever went back to school this week is having a good week, and I also wish everyone that starts next week a good school year.. I start classes on Monday.. yeepee.. I'm pretty excited, call me a dork. haha :)

Love you girls!!

Loreal Advanced RevitaLift Product Review

I'm super excited to talk about this product today!! I bought this about a week ago and I absolutely love it!! Here's the YouTube video I did on the product...

But just in case you want to skip that... here's my little review with pictures...

Price? $13.97 at Wal-Mart

What it says it does: Loreal Paris introduces ADVANCED REVITALIFT DOUBLE EYE LIFE, a revolutionary 2-step eye treatment that minimizes wrinkles and puffiness and instantly**(results within 1 hr) re-tightens the upper eye area

What I think about it I absolutely love this product so far! Not only does it work as a eyelift/wrinkle reducer but it's also a great makeup BASE!! Ya, no kidding! I noticed when I first put on the upper eye gel it actually brought out the COLOR of my eyeshadow... along with keeping my eyeshadow in place ALL day!! NO JOKE! lol... So now when I apply my makeup all I do is apply this product, let it dry, like you normally would with any cream/gel.. then apply my eyeshadow... no eyeshadow makeup base needed with this!! Normally I spend $19 on Too-Faced eyeshadow insurance.. well this product just saved me $19.
I especially love how you can feel your upper eye area tightening after you apply this product, I love IMMEDIATE results and this is what this product really does! As far as the under eye cream... I'm suppose to notice results within 4 weeks.. so I'll keep you posted!! ;)

Tips to prevent those fine lines
  • Do NOT tug on your eyes, what-so-ever!

  • When applying any kind of makeup under your eye area use your ring finger as this has the least amount of pressure

  • Try not to rub your eyes!

  • Always if you have to put any pressure on your eyes go from the outer corner of your eye to the inner,so your not stretching your skin any more that you already do

  • Try these kind of products when your young, it only helps prevent it in the long-run

  • SUNSCREEN! No tanning!(yes I'm so guilty of this!)

  • CONS None as of now

    Directions

Use in the AM and PM
Step 1: Under Eye Anti-Wrinkle Cream
Apply small dots of the white under eye cream below the eye and on crows feet with the ring finger and smooth gently until thoroughly absorbed!

Step 2: Massage a small amount of the red upper eye lifting gel evenly across the upper eye area. Allow to dry for 1 min for an immediate lifting sensation!

QUICK NOTE: This product was awarded Best Beauty Buy 2008 by InStyler :)

Naked Desserts Products VS. Lush Products and Review

I've been wanting to this a while now, and since I'm finally off from work today, I thought today was perfect. Like I posted in an earlier post I got a ton of products to try out from NakedDesserts.com I wanted to compare these products to the ultra expensive products from Lush. All items I got here are under $6.00! And their website is known for all items under $6.00 :) Great deal for a girl on the budget right? So here are the items I got:

    Strawberry-Banana Bath Bomb $2.99

    Photobucket

Cotton Candy Cupcake Bubble Bomb $4.49

    Photobucket

    Pink Lemonade Bath Bomb $2.99

    Photobucket

    Pearberry Natural Loofah Soap $3.29

    Photobucket

Berries 'n' Cream Massage Bar $3.49

    Photobucket

    Pink Lemonade Bubble Bar $5.25

    Photobucket

    Fairy Dust Bath melt $2.99

    Photobucket

Pink Lemonade Cupcake Bubble Bomb $4.49

    Photobucket

Shipping was kind of expensive... But it's definitely worth it. I've heard some horrific stories about how Lush packages their products... well Naked Desserts makes sure everything is neatly packaged, and protected. There's no way these babies are going to break. Not only that, every item is labeled! Which is a super plus to anyone who is first starting out with these products. i feel like when I first started using Lush and still to this day, I'm confused about what products I'm actually getting and what they're used for. But with the cute note cards telling me what the products are from Naked Desserts it's so much easier!! You can tell they put a lot of time and care into their packaging...

As for how the products actually work??? AWESOME! I've used a few of the products and I feel like they are very comparable to Lush. Once I use all of them I can rate them individually. But for the price, it's not hurting the bank to just try them out, even if you hate them!

I did a video on it as well... So please check that out. If you have any questions please don't hesitate to ask!! :) I'm sorry it had to be 2 videos I went over by 1 min and they deleted it, so I had to redo this... wasted 2 hrs! grrrr lol
