Exciting Announcements!

I have some very exciting announcements to share with everyone.
Well maybe just exciting for me, but I want to share. :)

First, the reason I've been away for so long.
We went and came back from the beach already.
Sad, I know.
Fall, here you come. Boo!

I'm going to share things I purchased, but if you already follow me on Instagram (vzaleski) you know some of the things I already purchased. I took pictures of everything already and I'll be making up a post soon.

Now, time for the exciting announcements...

First...

My Fiance and I got our very OWN apartment.
I know what you're thinking, didn't you already?
Technically, yes, but it was run through a school and everything was already set up for us.
This apartment will actually be our own!
The previous apartment was already furnished and everything was included, including cable and internet, but we were paying $1,300 a month for it. Ya, to rent an apartment.
You're probably wondering why we didn't just stay with it..
Well for one, the cost.. it was so much for it, and it was not comfortable to stay at.
We were living with a bunch of other college students in the same complex, and when there is parties, let me say they were parties, it got loud, and it was hard to concentrate and hard to sleep most importantly.
My fiance and I are older. I'm 25 and he is 27. We're not really into the whole underage drinking and partying every night. We got over that.. 5 years ago. lol.

Now that I'm graduating and he will be continuing on to a Pharmacy school we need to get serious about where we were going to live, and it sure as hell wasn't going to be where we were at.
Don't get me wrong, I liked the place but I wasn't comfortable.
We've been so busy with looking for furniture and all that fun stuff(Decorating), that it's been consuming all of my time. But it's a good thing!

Second..

I got an internship!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Yes, that's right, finally
The university that I attend requires an internship to graduate, and it couldn't of come at a more perfect time.
I've been looking for an internship since last summer. :(
Now that graduation was coming closer, I was getting really nervous.
In case you are wondering, I'm majoring in Accounting.
I actually landed a really awesome internship that is not only in my field, but it is paid (and for those college students out there, you understand how awesome it is to get a paid internship), and I'll be doing some pretty awesome things. Awesome things meaning, not tax work that I thought it was, but things that I wanted to do with my degree. Financial Statements, Statement of Cash Flows, all the fun things accounting majors do. :)
It'll be great to add to my resume once I graduate. At least I'll have experience

I figured since everyone here has been there for me through thick and thin I thought I would share some personal things with you. :)

And that completes my exciting announcements. :)

Thanks SO much for taking the time to read this if you read it this far.

Congratulations! I'm glad school is not stressing you out anymore, I wish I could say the same :( I'm very fortunate with the job I have now since it's given me so much experience with accounting! I'm exposed to so much as a receptionist! Taxes for individuals, small businesses, and corporations.. bank reconciliations for clients and even personal people. I could not have asked for more so hopefully when I go search for an internship that will help me actually get it :) Enough rambling from me and congratulations again ^__^
