Flea Market Finds and Scrapbooking.

Since I have my own apartment now, I've been decorating it with little things for Halloween, like my dish towels, place mats, pumpkin dish dispenser, and now I have cute window clings I got from the flea market.

Not just Halloween window clings either, they're Charlie Brown The Great Pumpkin clings!!

And then I picked up a bunch of Jolee scrapbooking stickers someone was selling for .50 a piece!! And if anyone else scrapbooks, they know they cost atleast $3.00 a piece. They had a TON of them, I wish I could of sat there and looked at all of them, but the fiance was patiently waiting. haha

College Rant, Juicy Couture Purse, and an idea for my Wedding.

I just need to rant for a moment about an exam I just had on Monday. The previous week the professor actually told us what would be on the exam so we could prepare ourselves and we wouldn't be thrown any curve balls. So I studied exactly what I was told to study... I studied for a good 5 days, give or take, and when I mean study like I maybe over do it...

Getting a little side tracked this is how I study: First, before class I read the Chapter we're going to go over, and then take notes on it. Like not just a few notes, like notes about very important details, all the terms, and any other information I think is necessary, like graphs or what not. And then when I go to class I'll take more notes. I'll do this for every chapter. It helps me remember. And then BEFORE the test, I'll take my notes and write out note cards and study with note cards. Then I'll REREAD the chapter(s). After I'm done re-reading the chapters I'll study the note cards until I'm blue in the face, and then AGAIN re read the chapters. Maybe I'm studying too much, but that's how I learn and remember, by repetition.

Anyway, so I studied. I was then handed the test in class and was completely confused! I literally did not know anything. I was sitting there, ready to panic, and I seriously wanted to walk out. I calmed down, and re read the test, and after rereading, I recalled some information, but other things, I was literally sitting there like WTH? I haven't received my grade yet, but I'm dreading seeing it. It makes me so mad! Did this ever happen to anyone else? And also how do you study?

ANYWAY, lol, onto a more happy note. This past weekend I went home to see my family and we also went to the Bloomsburg Fair. And when I got home I had a package awaiting for me... my new Juicy Couture purse!!

I'm sorry for the bad quality, I had to do this in my room where the lighting wasn't the greatest at the time. The only thing I'm disappointed in, is the color, it's actually brown and creme, not the black and creme that I thought it was. But honestly you can't even tell unless you look up close.

The purse is still actually at my house, I didn't bring it to my apartment because I plan on using it for the fall. :)

Also we went to the Bloomsburg fair with my family this past Sunday and I saw this beautiful horse and a carriage. Oh-my-gosh! It was so beautiful. I was actually thinking of having it for my wedding. Well just thinking. But I wanted to share and hear your opinions on it.

And picture it with white horses, because I have the option of the black horses or white horses.

Also they had these exhibits inside some buildings and there was photographers showing off some of their photographs. And I really like the ideas that this photographer had. I'm looking for a photographer who will have good ideas and tell everyone what to do in pictures and how to look. I can't have someone just snap photos, I need someone with good ideas. But I really like how he actually separated the brides maids and the groomsmen. I love how it looks. (Oh and I also love that color pink, too cute, looks great next to the black.)

And besides the photo I liked how this guy dressed up his suit with his shoes and hat. It looks so retro and 1920-ish

Anyway, that's all I have for now. Sorry for delaying of the posts, just been busy with school. Not to mention I'm having my first Statistics exam this friday! AHHH!

NOTD Sept. 22, 2010

Here's my nails with the new nail polish I picked up the other day. I really love this color. And believe it or not it's only one coat! I understand this color is bright for this time of year, but hey! I don't want summer to be over, so psssh. :P

OOTD Sept 21, 2010 & Hard Candy Haul

The fiance and I didn't have classes today and I decided to get a little dressed up and do my make up nice because we were heading to the local movie theatre. When I say little, I mean little I think the theatre literally had two movies playing, Devil and The Last Exorcism. We seen the Devil, ehhh not that great. So I just thought I'd show my outfit... :)

Dress from Strawberry, earrings from JCPenney, shoes from Wet Seal, and purse, of course, by Bebe. :)

The other day at Wal-Mart I decided to hit up the make up section since it's been too long since my last makeup purchase. I wanted to check out the Hard Candy line. They had a ton in stock, I swear the people that live around here don't wear makeup. The isles were literally over stocked with stuff, crickets were chipping, that's how dead the isles were. But hey, I guess that's too my advantage. :) Here's some stuff I picked up. I haven't tried any of it yet because I was holding off to take pictures. Does anyone else do that? Let there stuff pile up just so you can take pictures and blog about it? lol Maybe it's just me haha.

Booooots!

Surprisingly I came across some cute boots on eBay.com! I don't know if I'll win them, but I thought I'd share because they're just so cute. :)

First off, I have to say, I walk to school everyday, twice a day, and that's a mile each way, so when it rained one day and I wore flip flops, it didn't really work out for me. My fiance suggested, "Why don't you have rain boots?" Instant light bulb, "Ya, why not?" I have many many options of which ones I want. Target has a TON of cute ones, but I thought I'd venture onto ebay for the hell of it. That didn't help either, here are a few cute ones I came across:

But ultimately it really comes down to this particular pair that I really want by Victoria Secrets Pink....

Besides looking for rain boots I decided to look for "over-the-knee" -- "thigh high" boots. I came across two pairs I'm really really longing...

These pair are grey and they have a COMPLETE fleece lining, and it appears that it may even zipper up the back. They're so cute. I really really want them.

These boots are in black with the chain in the front(which I'm assuming is removable). These too are completely lined in fleece. Oh-so-cute. :)

And while I was searching a sellers boots I came across these cute booties. I don't really own any booties besides my Steve Madden ones, but they're not really for going out, more for a relaxed look, so I really like these.

Wish me luck! I hope I win those rain boots!! Haha, I need them with all the walking I do. Not to mention the next day of classes it's suppose to rain. :(

My Face BEFORE makeup & AFTER makeup.

To be honest this is really embarrassing for me to post. And honestly, I don't even know why I'm going to post this. This started out as an experiment to see how different I look with my makeup fully done.

Let's face it, we put on a bunch of makeup to feel better, well atleast I do. I honestly will never ever leave the house without makeup. I don't like what I look like, whatsoever. I hate how small my eyes are, I hate my huge nose I inherited from my mom, I refuse to wear my hair up because I don't like my facial features, I mean I could go on and on. But I don't think I'm much different than most. I think there's things we all don't like about ourselves.

Anyway, like I said this started out as an experiment and I wanted to see my BEFORE and AFTER pictures of myself.

A lot of blogs out there are strictly dedicated to makeup, and it amazes me what make up can do. Have a big nose? Oh, there's contouring for that? What bigger eyes? Oh use more liner and put more of the liner in the corner of your eyes for bigger eyes. I mean these are just 2 things we can do with makeup that can transform us..

I think everyone is beautiful in their own way, and I hope everyone sees that, with or without make up. Makeup is just a way of ... hmm.. expressing ourselves, and also to accentuate more of our "better" features, if you will, and to hide our less attractive features. Hell, I do it. And I am impressed with the many girls out their with their talented makeup skills!

I'm not sure what I'm getting at here, I'm kind of just rambling, just some things I've been thinking about...

ANYWAY, here's a BEFORE picture of myself, WITHOUT any makeup, and I have pictures (I made it smaller so your screens won't crack. lolol JK) and then showing how I continue to put makeup on, and the last pictures are with my hair done and makeup.
