Steve Madden, TJMaxx & Ross Haul
I did it.. I splurged. I bought the Steve Madden Bow Flip Flops. I really really wanted the white ones, and just couldn't seem to find them in the white. :/ At $35 for a pair of flip flops, it's kind of expensive, but if I wear them all the time, atleast it won't seem as bad. lol...
First I'd like to comment on this bag they gave me to carry them it, at first it was awkward, but after wearing it around the mall for a while, it just felt like I was carrying a purse.
♥
$24.99

It's SO beautiful here at school!! I hope everyone is enjoying their day! :)

Easter Post
Had an amazing Easter! Spent the day with my family and my fiance's grandparents and his parents. Let me tell you, we ate real good that day! We probably had 3 meals within a 5 hour period. By our last meal I could hardly eat anything.. haha. Anyway, I thought I'd share my OOTD with you, and some photos from the day, and my beautiful flowers my fiance gave me. :D He's too sweet.
Lauren Conrad for Kohls Trench
Target Dress
Bracelet: Juicy Couture
My Fiance gracefully looking at his Chocolate Covered Strawberry, "Oh, I'm going to eat you!" lol, Well atleast that's what his facial expression looks like.
Unfortunately, we had to travel back to school and our apartment the same day as Easter, so out came the contacts! Horrible tripod photo, but it's a photo of us for Easter and that's what counts. :)
My beautiful flowers. To be honest I love these type of flowers over roses. :P
See the sunflowers?!
Love this purple bow.
He also got me a cute little bunny that sings and dances.
SO, how was your Easter?!

How To: Imitation Gertrude Hawk Chocolate Covered Strawberries & Happy Easter!
One of my favorite things to do is make Chocolate Covered Strawberries. Believe it or not, I actually don't like them, but I do love to make them! My fiance loves the Gertrude Hawk Chocolate Covered Strawberries, but they're just so expensive. $2.00 for one is just a little over priced for me. I use to buy them for him, but then I came up with a better idea, "Why don't I make them on my own?"
So, what I do now, is buy 5 of the Gertrude Hawk Milk Chocolate .99 bars and melt the chocolate and make them on my own... I decided to do a little tutorial since it's fitting because tomorrow is Easter. :)
What you'll need:
5 or more, depending on how many chocolate covered strawberries you wanted to make, of Gertrude Hawk Milk Chocolate .99 bars.
Strawberries
Pot to boil water in
Some thing to place over the boiling water, I have a bowl for it, but if you don't you can always use any kind of glass bowl, or even use a cookie sheet and place the cookie sheet over the boiling water, and place a bowl on top of it, this is used to melt the chocolate
A cookie sheet with Wax Paper to place your chocolate covered strawberries
I kind of provided a step by step instruction on how to do this. So follow along. :)
I promise this bowl isn't dirty, it's water spots. lol
To put the chocolate in to.
Wax paper and a cookie sheet.
Make sure you clean your strawberries!
So, boil some water... any amount of water.
Boil on High.
Break up your Gertrude Hawk Chocolate bars.
As they're melting in your pot, make sure to keep mixing, no one likes burnt chocolate. :)
Melted chocolate!
Dip your DRY strawberries into the chocolate using a circle/swirly motion.
And there you have it.
You can even drizzle white chocolate on them, like Gertrude Hawk does, just repeat the previous steps, in this case I didn't because I didn't purchase any white chocolate.
Refrigerate for an hour or more, or until the chocolate is hard. So there you have it, your imitation Gertrude Hawk Chocolate Covered Strawberries. Put them in a cute little basket and hand out as gifts to your family and friends. :)
I hope this was helpful and if you have any questions comment below.
And... I can't forget...
I hope the Easter Bunny is good to everyone! ♥

What I use as my Fashion Inspiration
I seen a post by blogger J's Everyday Fashion about how she's inspired for her outfit posts. I absolutely love the way she dresses and I love how she posts where she was inspired to do that outfit. And she uses things that are already in her closet. You should really check it out.
About a year ago I started to do the same thing. But in my own way. When I would look at magazines (And I mean any kind of magazines, Victoria Secret Sale Magazines, Alloy magazines, Delias Magazines and of course, Glamour Magazines, and In-Style magazines) I would look at them to see what kind of outfit they're wearing, and if I own something like it I would recreate it in my own way, with my own clothing.
You don't have to always buy the expensive items that you see in the magazines, a lot of stores recreate them in their own way, and in a cheaper way. So, from the magazines I would cut out the photos of outfits I would like to wear, or I'm inspired from, and I created my own little "Scrapbook". Some people use cork boards and post photos of outfits they like, well I use a little book. haha.
My Inspiration Book... in the making
Left overs I didn't put into my scrapbook.
So don't just throw away your magazines, if you like outfits in the magazines that you can re-create with clothes you already have, or even outfits that you'd like to re-create by going out and buying cheaper versions, or of course if you could afford the actual versions, do that too. :)
I know in the blog post by J's Everyday Fashion she posted another one of her 6 inspirations forms is outfits from other bloggers and also outfits from online websites. So I recently created a folder in my Pictures library of Inspirational outfits and use that to refer to. :)

Wedding Post: I said Yes!
Cleaning out my apartment today and the last few days, packing up my stuff to go back home for the summer. :) I came across a shirt my fiance purchased for me when we first got engaged and completely forgot about it! I figured I'd blog about it and do a little outfit of the day. And yes, I'm in my work-out attire. I just added the top. haha My roommate and I did Kenpo X on P90X today and it's my favorite workout out of them all so far. :)
Week 2 of P90X
In case you're wondering about purchasing he bought it off of eBay.com, it's by the Sexy Little Things line from Victoria Secrets.
