Before I left for school I finally bit the bullet and bought myself the foundation I've been sampling for over 2 weeks now. I finally switched from my Everyday Minerals to a liquid foundation. If you read my blog, you can only imagine how hard this was for me. I was given 3 different types of liquid foundation.
- Makeup Forever
- Tarte's Tinted Moisturizer
- Tarte's ReCreate Foundation
I'll have to admit, I wasn't impressed with the cover of Makeup Forever, I know, I know, I just didn't like it. Tarte's tinted moisturizer had next to zero coverage, and Tarte's ReCreate foundation was the original foundation I was testing for over 2 weeks. I asked if I could have samples because I'm very pron to break-outs. (Good tip just in case you don't want to commit to a certain foundation, or like I did, just wanted to test them out) I was told that the Tarte's foundation was free from any type of ingredient that would cause of break out(those ingredients I couldn't even pronounce little alone spell!)
Needless to say I finally bit the bullet and purchased Tarte's ReCreate Foundation. I just wanted to point out some awesome things on the back of the box of this foundation:
- Increases skin elasticity, firmness and resiliency 43% after 4 weeks.
- Reduces fine lines and wrinkles 67% after 6 weeks.
- 52.8% increase in moisture of skin 15 minutes post application.
Anyway, here's the two things I picked up while at Sephora.
I also sampled the Sephora Instant Moisturizer and instantly fell in love. Can you believe it, starting a whole new skin care routine? I know! Holy poop, I'm getting up with everyone else! haha. But I have to say that I have tried Clinique's infamous Moisturizer and it actually made me break out, so I stirred away from it and have been using the same moisturizer I use with my acne kit(Acne Free). I felt like I needed something a little stronger and I actually fell in love with it. The scent does help too, it has a nice clean feeling to it!
