My Face BEFORE makeup & AFTER makeup.

To be honest this is really embarrassing for me to post. And honestly, I don't even know why I'm going to post this. This started out as an experiment to see how different I look with my makeup fully done.

Let's face it, we put on a bunch of makeup to feel better, well atleast I do. I honestly will never ever leave the house without makeup. I don't like what I look like, whatsoever. I hate how small my eyes are, I hate my huge nose I inherited from my mom, I refuse to wear my hair up because I don't like my facial features, I mean I could go on and on. But I don't think I'm much different than most. I think there's things we all don't like about ourselves.

Anyway, like I said this started out as an experiment and I wanted to see my BEFORE and AFTER pictures of myself.

A lot of blogs out there are strictly dedicated to makeup, and it amazes me what make up can do. Have a big nose? Oh, there's contouring for that? What bigger eyes? Oh use more liner and put more of the liner in the corner of your eyes for bigger eyes. I mean these are just 2 things we can do with makeup that can transform us..

I think everyone is beautiful in their own way, and I hope everyone sees that, with or without make up. Makeup is just a way of ... hmm.. expressing ourselves, and also to accentuate more of our "better" features, if you will, and to hide our less attractive features. Hell, I do it. And I am impressed with the many girls out their with their talented makeup skills!

I'm not sure what I'm getting at here, I'm kind of just rambling, just some things I've been thinking about...

ANYWAY, here's a BEFORE picture of myself, WITHOUT any makeup, and I have pictures (I made it smaller so your screens won't crack. lolol JK) and then showing how I continue to put makeup on, and the last pictures are with my hair done and makeup.

Juicy Couture, why do you do this to me??

First off, I don't know if everyone knows, but Juicy Couture is have 30% off Friends and Family until the 21st and the code is simply FRIENDS. Thanks a lot Juicy, now my bank account might suffer...

Let me say that I seen this purse quite some time ago, and it couldn't be more me. It's not your typical Daydreamer boxy purse, it's more of a duffle... if you will. They call it a "Brogue Day Fluffy" For whatever reason this is a good $30 more than the daydreamer and when I seen it in stores it's basically the same size as the daydreamer, so why Juicy, why are you charging more?!

Anyway, back to what I was saying on how this is too perfect for me. If you know me I LOVE houndstooth, it's absolutely perfect for the fall/winter. And to top it off it has a BOW on it, right on the front. I can definitely see myself wearing this this fall. Ohhhh Juicy, why do you do this to me?!

So $228
-30%
=$159.60
PLUS I have a $50 Visa gift card... hmmm.. lol

Does anyone else does this? Haha

Anyway, this is what it looks like:

Make sure you check out their charms right now too, they have their 2010 Limited Edition holiday charms. :)

Uggs

Every year I buy/or my parents buy me a new pair of Uggs. I got an email from Nordstrom this morning advertising Uggs Australia Bailey Button Triplet Boot. These are too cute for words, and now I'm longing for a pair. Priced at $179.95 Comes in 6 different colors too. I haven't decided on the color, but I'm thinking sand...

What's your take on Uggs? Love 'em or hate 'em?

Storage for your Jewelry in a dorm/apartment

As most of you know, I moved into an apartment with my fiance at a school we transferred too. I don't have my wonderful dresser like I do have home to have a display of my jewelry so now I have to compromise. When my mom and I went shopping at Bed Bath and Beyond we were looking for different things for the apartment, initially I was looking for a jewelry box, but when I came across this, I was so excited. Made perfect sense, it was only $14.99(much cheaper than a jewelry box) and it could easily hang in my closet, duh! Why didn't think of that!!

This is the front side with my smaller jewelry, like my earrings and necklaces.

The best part about this is that on the back are much larger pockets for your bigger bangles and such. :)

and it conveniently sits next to my scarves in my closet. :)

Forever 21 Haul

Found some cute stuff on Forever 21, cheap too! I ordered when they had free shipping on Labor Day... Right now, if you're interested in anything I have listed, they have free shipping over $40.

This is a tunic, stripped shirt from their Fabulous Finds section. $11.50
I'm probably going to pair it with tights and flats or my dark grey Steve Madden boots.

These are bow over-the-knee socks $2.50. Perfect to layer under your boots to make your boots appear taller.

This bow headband was on clearance for $1.99 It's too cute, I couldn't pass it up.

Knitted Rouched One Shoulder Dress $22.80 I'm really loving one shoulder dresses/shirts. There's something appealing about them. :)

Thermal Knit Tunic $15.80 I love how the model is wearing it, shorts/skirt with tights and boots. Perfect.

Stripped tube knit tunic. I got this in 2 colors. It's too cute, and I hope it fits!! lol $8.80

Lace Yoke Roched Tunic $14.80 This is so pretty with jeans or even leggings. I love the detailing on the top.

Asymmetrical Top $14.80 So cute. Great for the fall.

I also got a necklace, a basic black tank, and a brush(because I needed a new one) that's not pictured. Can't wait to get the stuff!!

Atlantic City

Moved into a new apartment at a new university... this is my excuse for my lack of blogging. :( But I'm all moved in and pretty much settled in, so back to my blogging. :)

2 weeks ago we went to Atlantic City and I thought I'd share some photos.

Here's our second day in Atlantic City after we spent the day at the beach. We were heading out to a new restaurant that the Hilton built called "Nick's Burger Bar", and also the casino floor to play our favorite slot machine, Monopoly. John and I aren't huge gamblers, but we do like to play sometimes. The whole reason we venture off to Atlantic City so much is because that's the first vacation we ever went on when we first started dating. We went there with John's parents, and I loved it ever since. It's just that it brings back so many good memories of times we went down when we were younger and now I think we're just hooked... but anyway... lol

So ya, this is us heading out. I'm wearing a Wet Seal Dress with a Charlotte Russe belt.

Photobucket

This is at Ceasers when we were shopping at the ship mall. It's my favorite because it's at the crosswalk between the mall and the casino and you can look out at the boardwalk.

Photobucket

My shopping trip. Not a big one, but I did buy some things. (Later in the post)

This is Nick's Burger Bar inside the Hilton casino and hotel.

Photobucket

My huge mudslide for $9.00 which I couldn't drink much of. The bartender didn't do a good job making this.

Photobucket

This is our 3rd day here and we were heading home. I'm so mad because of the damn dust in front of my face, of course of all the places it lands... grrr! lol I'm wearing a dress from Mandee and a belt from Rainbow.

Photobucket

Here's some things I bought. The first isn't something I bought from Atlantic City, it's from Macy's but I love it so much I want to share, plus it was only $4.99 and can't decide what to wear with it, so I need some opinions.

Photobucket

Also these are from JCPenney 2 for $16.00. They're long sleeve basic v-neck shirts.

Photobucket

This is one of Juicy Couture's newest charm, which is my absolute FAVORITE charm now... it's a cupcake in an OVEN!! :D AHHHH! $58

This is just a night shirt I seen in Victoria Secrets in Atlantic City, and John really enjoyed it too. I'm using it here at our new apartment to wear to sleep, it's so cute.

Photobucket

I also got a coupon for Bath and Body Works for any free sized travel item, and I picked up the Sweet Pea body spray. I was between the lotion and spray and thought I had enough lotion, come to find out I have none. Oh well. lol

Picked up shorts from Guess
