Valentines Day Nails & Nail Polish Haul

Happy Thursday everyone! Just one more day away from the weekend!! Woot Woot!! :)
Yesterday the fiance and I went out to eat and decided to stop at TJMaxx. I found a bunch of cute nail polishes there for cheap! They even had Sephora by OPI for $3.99. But no colors I really wanted. Instead I found cute E.l.f. ones and Nicole by OPI ones.

I am in love with this blue color. It's such a pretty light blue with a bit of shimmer to it. It's so cute. Unfortunately both of the colors are from the Kim Kardashian collection, but they are pretty! This set was $5.99


The other set I picked up was these mini nail polishes by Elf. The whole reason I picked it up was for the teal color to your left. There is no names for them, so I apologize. The set was $2.99

And lastly, my nails I did for Valentines Day. Will they last till Valentines Day? No. But I don't care, I'm in the spirit. haha.


I finally got the opportunity to use the Sally Hansen nail art pen and they are so awesome! SUPER easy to use, and dries very quickly, so worrying about smudging. The color is coral.

My Ombre Hair

This past Friday I had a hair appointment and did not have any idea what I was getting done. All I knew was that I was sick of my plain boring brown hair. I was going to do a red highlight, but knew it wouldn't last, so I decided to do something different... ombre. I've been debating it and didn't think I would like it. But my hair stylist seriously nailed it, and it looks SO amazing. It's a completely different change for me, something I normally don't do, but hey it's the new year, why not! The only thing I'm having a hard time with is styling it! I don't think it will look good straight, so I'm having to curl it every day. But I'm working with different looks so we will see what I come up with. :)

Bath and Body Works Haul

If you follow me on Instagram(vzaleski) you would know I recently took a trip to Philadelphia for my fiance's and I 10 year anniversary. Big deal, I know! :D We are also now back at school (For my fiance) and we just came back yesterday. So I apologize for the lack of posts this weekend. But I do have a lot in store for you guys! First I'd like to finish up my haul from the Philadelphia Premium Outlets. I have things I bought from Bath & Body Works, and Spyder.

This Sweat Pea candle I got for $4.75! I should have bought more, it was such a good deal! I also picked up Sweet Pea lotion with shimmer it in, I thought it would be nice for the summer when I'm nice and tan. This was also 75% off along with the body butter.


I finally picked up the Sweet in Paris body spray. 75% off.

New traveling shampoo and conditioners. On sale for $3.99 each. I love these, they last me forever.

I also picked up this body lotion that is suppose to boost your mood. I've used it twice now and I love the scent of it, and I feel like it does lift up my spirits a little bit. Probably because it smells so good.

At Spyder I splurged a little bit. My fiance went snow boarding and picked up snow pants and I found this adorable fleece tunic. It fit me like a glove. I absolutely love it. I also love how the neckline goes high too.

Forever 21 and New York & Company Haul

If you follow me on Instagram{vzaleski} you know that I recently made a trip to the Philadelphia Premium Outlets. I went with the Fiance and my future Mother-in-law. It was so much fun!
I visited a bunch of stores and made out pretty well. I had a lot of gift cards to spend, and you know they were burning a hole in my pocket so I did some shopping. I have quite a big haul so I'm going to be splitting up the posts a bit. First I'll start with New York and Company and Forever 21, and then the upcoming posts will be for Bath & Body Works, Spyder, and Sephora. So look forward to those.
I love the way New York and Company's button down's fit. I found these on sale for $19.99 and when I got to the register they rang up $9.99. Score!

I also picked up some new jeans. I'm on the hunt for some new jeans and these were exactly what I wanted to spend. They were only $9.99 each!

From Forever 21, I picked up the following:
I got this light blue sweater, which is the most beautiful blue color I've ever seen!

BIG heart sweater that was only $14.80. It also came in grey with a pink heart, which I'm kind of regretting not getting that one too. These are adorable!

Black trouser pants that are skinnies. Something I don't own and they were only $19.80 I believe.

A fun sequin sweater. I love these because you can dress them up or dress them down. It's a pretty shade of dark green too. $19.80

This is a horrible picture of a navy skirt. Something I don't own. *gasp* I believe this skirt was around $15

Yellow and white stripped button down on sale for $14.00. I am going to pair it with the navy skirt.

Cupcake liner filled with hair ties. Something I really needed! I always seem to lose my hair ties. $4.80

Mariah Carey's Liquid Sand OPI Collection Review

Today I'm doing a nail polish review for the new OPI collection by Mariah Carey. One of my best friends picked up this nail polish and told me I had to give it a try, so yesterday after work I drove to Ulta(in the snow) to purchase one. They came in 4 different colors but I picked up the one in pink called The Impossible. Here are a few photos of it and then I will give a review.

In the third photo you get a better look at the color. It's absolutely beautiful. What I like most about this glitter nail polish is that it's not just a top coat. The color on my nail is two coats and it's filled with color and glitter! I thought when I bought this it would be just a top coat I needed to put over a base, but that is not the case. The texture is kind of rough, but not rough where it's noticeable or is pulling on your clothes. It dries to a matte finish which is also nice. I want every single color now! I also read online when the Wizard of Oz movie comes out that there is going to be a liquid sand collection with that as well. Which I am super excited for! So we will see!
If you can get your butt to an Ulta, GO! This nail polish is great!

Random Haul - First of 2013

Where has time gone? It's already the 18th of January! I have been so busy with work and guess what?!?! I had my first job interview for a big girl job this past Tuesday. I won't name the company but it's for an accounting position. I am told I am going to get a call on the 25th(next friday) whether or not I got the job or not. I am very excited and anxious about it, and hope when he calls he says I'm hired! :D Please keep your fingers crossed!
Anyway, I have a bit of a random haul to share with you. It's actually really random and once you see it you'll be a bit confused. Haha.
I have had the same Chi straightener since I was 22, that was almost 4 years ago. I'm a bit nervous that the poor thing is just going to die on my so I decided it was time for a new one. I absolutely love my Chi and can not wait to use this new one. I'm taking it back to school with me so I haven't tried it yet, it's all packed away. I found this at Target.

And yes, that's right ladies and gentlemen, I finally received the Uggs in the mail.

The short Baily Bow Ugg boots. Welcome home. And I've already worn them at least a dozen times now. haha.



I honestly wasn't sure if I was going to like the short Ugg boots, but I didn't like the tall Bailey Bow boots, I actually liked the shorter ones more.
