Got my nails done!

WOW, it's been SOOO long since I last got my nails done, probably since high school and it honestly feels... different. It's a love/hate relationship with me. I feel like nails get in the way of every day life things, like texting or checking my facebook on my phone, or even in the way of working.. Blah. But I'll get use to them. My fiance's mom, sister and I went together to get out nails done. It was so much fun and I enjoyed myself. I just got a basic manicure with a little bit of silver lining. It'll look perfect for the photos. This may sound weird, but when I was working today I got my compliments on my engagement ring than ever before. More than usual I should say, it was nice feeling. :)

The lady did a wonderful job and I couldn't be happier. Now I can't ruin them until next Tuesday when the actual photo shoot takes place. Haha. Tomorrow I have a ton of things to do before my fiance gets out of work, things for the beach, and then I have to go shopping with him for an outfit for the photos. So last minute. lol. Typical guy. And then of course pack up more stuff. But it's getting close to 2AM so I should head to bed. Goodnight! :)

Packing and Outfits for the Beach

I decided to take photos of all the outfits I put together to wear to the beach when I go this coming Saturday. I obviously over packed, but who doesn't? And sometimes I can't help myself, when I'm packing I think I'll wear it, but when the day comes, WHO KNOWS! lol I always pack a wide variety of things so I know I have options, and also because of weather. The weather man could say it's going to be nice out, but a minute later it'll be down pouring. So that's what I account for. Anyway! Here's some of the outfits. And unfortunately I didn't photo all because my camera died. :( Tomorrow I'm going to get my nails done! I haven't done that in years maybe since high school! As you guys know I'm getting my photos done at the beach so that's the whole reason for getting them done. My fiance's mom and sister are coming along as well, so I'm excited!

For a night out. Casual Day. A outfit for the night when it's cold. Date night. Casual day out Shopping outfit? Love this belt, from a new store in the area called Charming Charlies. LOVE! Romper. Anchor earrings. I obviously added more. It may be overfilled but I have options. And I didn't even pack pj's yet! :P Or shoes. I also want to apologize for the bad quality of the photos. I was taking them quick and wanted to share with you guys before I went away. Anyway I'm off to bed. I'm exhausted.

Packing Essentials

Since I'm leaving for the beach this coming Saturday I figured I would do a post of things I think are essentials when going away somewhere. Whether it be to the beach or just a weekend get a away. I have a travel bag I always bring with me everywhere I go and I always keep it stocked with the same stuff. I never use it day to day just when we go away so I never have to worry about packing these essentials. It's saved so much time and so much hassle, and when I'm out of shampoo or conditioner I just restock before I know I'm going away. They're travel sized and they're perfect for me. :)

1. Shampoo and conditioner. Both from Bath & Body Works when they have their semi-annual sale. The scent is Sweet Pea. 2. Shaving cream 3. Razor 4. Toothbrush and toothpaste. I bring 2 toothbrushes for the fiance and I. 5. Body Wash. My favorite is by Caress Tahiti. 6. Pouf (and i replace this often as well) 7. Contact lens case and Opti Free 8. Johns travel sized deodorant. (I have mine as well, just not pictured) 9. Sewing kit. (I got it free from the Hilton so I've kept it in my bag ever since.) Of course I pack my makeup and skin care. But that's things I use everyday. I hope to continue to do posts like this up until vacation. Hopefully it'll help people who haven't gone on vacation yet! haha. Goodnight.

Bath & Body Works Haul

I mentioned that the fiance and I did some shopping when we moved into the new apartment in a previous post. And I figured I would start with the things I got from Bath & Body Works. Believe it or not my fiance loves Bath & Body Works. He says that he wishes his house could smell like the store. Haha. I decided to check out some candles for the apartment. Of course I let my fiance have a choice, which may not have been a good idea. He loved all different kinds! Fortunately they were 50% off the original and I had a 20% off coupon that worked! :)

Can I say that I love their bags, so cute!


The first one is Fresh Cotton, and that's exactly what it was, it smelt fresh, like a fresh load of laundry and my fiance LOVES that! It was originally $19.50 but 50% & 20% off brought it pretty low.


This is a smaller one called Pineapple Orchid, and it smells SO fruity, I love fruity smells, it's my favorite. I bought it in the smaller one because they no longer had the larger version of it and plus I'm going to put it in my bedroom or the bathroom when I take bubble baths! :)


Cupcake handle holder for the bigger one. This will be going in our living room. The holder was only $5.00 plus 20% off.


Looks SO cute. I'm so excited.


Annnnddd guess what I'm doing today?! Time to dye the roots. Ya, it's time. Tomorrow I'll be getting my hair done. I can't wait it's long over due. I'll probably get a cut and partial high lights.


I use the cheap stuff, $3.17 each. haha.

Charlotte Russe Accessories Haul

As you guys know, my engagement photo shoot is coming up, and I've been on the hunt for some coral accessories to wear with my white dress. The only place I could find accessories I liked was from CharlotteRusse.com I got the necklace I've been eying up for $5.00 and 3 pairs of earrings for $10.

I honestly love getting mail. It's so nice to get home from work to find a package on the table waiting for me. :)

My first pair of feather earrings. They're a light pink color with gold accents. Love.


The picture makes these earrings look more red than coral. You'll just have to take my word on it.

The "coral" necklace I wanted to wear for the pictures, but now I'm thinking the coral earrings, I don't know, I want to try on the dress again with accessories.


I also went to Vicki's to pick up my free panty. :P


I also picked up my free travel antibacterial lotion. I got the fruit punch one. Love.




My fiance and I moved into our new apartment this past weekend and I did quite a bit of shopping for the beach, so I can't wait to share that with you guys, so look forward to that post!

Small Haul

Picked up 3 new shirts that I'm considering wearing to the beach. Actually everything I'm buying lately I'm considering for the beach. *lol* I'm so exhausted to be totally honest. I need a break from working so much. I finally have a 3 day weekend, but that only entitles moving into our new apartment, so not much of a weekend off, but my fiance and I finally get to spend some quality time together, something we haven't done ALL summer. :( Anyway, here's some shirts I picked up!

Victoria Secrets Haul

Victoria Secrets is giving away their Pink dogs again with any pink purchase! I had a coupon for a free panty with any pink purchase, so I picked up these shorts for $16.50, got a free panty and the free dog. Score. :)

I had an AMAZING weekend! My fiance and I went to a local amusement park, and we had such a good time. We haven't been there in like 2 years, maybe more. It's one of my favorites because my parents always took me when I was a kid, hopefully when I have children I can take them there too! I've been so busy this past week, I worked 50+ hours this past week alone, so to spend a day at the amusement park was a lot of fun, and definitely something I needed!
