Fitting Room Pics: TJMaxx

I'm finally getting to relax after such a hectic weekend!
I must say I really enjoyed my 3 day weekend. :)
I got to spend the day with my dad for his birthday. Which made me really happy and thankful.
I spent Sunday all day with him and then at night went out with some of my really good friends to a Haunted House. Check off another Fall Bucklist item! :D

Anyway, today my fiance wanted to go to TJMaxx to look for some new shirts.
Well he ended up with nothing while I ended up purchasing 3 items.
3 items I'm really excited for. :)

Finally!
A pair of corduroy pants that fit!
$19.99
Also this top reminds me of the one from Victoria Secrets that is overly priced.
$16.99

This was a high low sweater I didn't purchase. Didn't do much for me.

This top however, LOVE.
I was afraid to try the "peplum" tops because I thought it would make me look wider than I was, but I must say I do enjoy this top very much.
It was on clearance for $10!

Unfortunately I didn't take a picture of the back but it is open back with a bow on it.

Got to spend the weekend with some of my best friends! <3

Plenty of drinking involved

Was able to spend the day with my dad for his birthday.

Happy birthday dad!

Purchased cupcake ornaments from Wal-Mart.
How adorable?!?!

Wore my North Face out to the Haunted House.
How I missed you North Face. <3

Spent the night talking to my fiance over a hot cup of hot chocolate.

I had such an amazing 3 day weekend.
I hope everyone else did too!

Old Navy: Fitting Room Pics

Today I went shopping at Old Navy, I don't know what is drawing me in there but something is!
I'm finding SO many cute things!
I went there to look for a dress that I could wear for my birthday.
What I'm loving about Old Navy is that their dresses are actually long enough for me, I'm 5'8-9"ish and it is so hard to find dresses that pass my rear. lol.

Anyway I found a bunch of great finds.
Their fleece coats were on sale for $15 from $34.95
I don't have an orange one and it's perfect for the season.

This top was on clearance for $12.99

I enjoy it tucked in.

Long body con skirt $19

Cute dress for $29.94

And this was my outfit for the day.
Charlotte Russe cardigan, Decree jeans, Charlotte Russe leopard flats

This weekend is treating me really well.
Last night I went out with friends and co-workers and had a blast.
Tonight I'm heading out with my best friends and I'm so excited.

I don't have a whole outfit post but here's what I wore last night.
Sequin top: Forver 21 and Stripped blazer: Marshalls
and I just paired it with skinnies.

My friend and I ordered a S'more's martini, delicious!

My mom bought me a pumpkin cupcake, how cute!
I'm still trying to finish it, it's SO big!

Anyway, have a nice Saturday night everyone!

Outfit of the Day

I was originally going to post 2 outfits but for some reason I am missing my 2nd outfit.
And I'm really upset because I liked it. :/
Anyway, this is something I wore yesterday to work/internship.

This was taken early in the morning and please excuse my fiance's clothes thrown on the ground.
lol. Guys. Just like kids.
I'm wearing a Forever 21 cream top Ross Black pants, & Forever 21 Scarf.
I wore my hair curly, something I hardly ever do, and when I do I always seem to get compliments.
I'm finding it much easier to style my hair my natural way, but still on the fence about it...

I am going home this weekend because I have a 3 day weekend ahead of me.
I'm excited because I get to spend time with friends, and my dad's birthday is this weekend.
My family and I are taking my dad out for his birthday and I'm really excited to spend it with him.
I'm also excited to give him his birthday present. :)

Anyway, I hope everyone is having a great week!

Updating Apartment

Settling into this apartment is definitely taking longer than I hoped for.
There are so many things I'd like to do, but I can never seem to find time nor money. {College sucks!}
I did however do some fun things over the weekend I'd like to share.

I guess you'll be getting a peak at what my apartment looks like too. :)

I wanted to add a rug to our living room to make it more cozy, and to have more of a design
The biggest part of my apartment is the living room. We don't have much furniture, just what you see.

I like what it did for the living room, I purchased it at K-Mart, of all places! lol.

I wanted to hang something above our couch as well.. and I've been looking for a big picture frame but they're so expensive, well over $30, and I'm not willing to spend that much money on just a picture frame.
Wal-Mart was having a huge clearance event and this beauty was there and marked down to $7!

I definitely will change out the photos a lot considering it only cost me $2.00 (not even, $1.70) to order online through walmart to print.

I decided to keep it beach theme for now, until the holidays come. :)

I'm embarrassed to say this, but I've had these coasters for 2 years now and I'm finally getting to put pictures into them. I got the glass coasters from JCPenney for .97!
I printed off the black & white photos from our engagement photo shoot in LBI and inserted them into the coasters.
I couldn't be more happier.

Does anyone else have projects that they've put off for so long that they're embarrassed to even say how long?

It's so nice to finally get things done that I've been wanting to. :)

Anyway, I'm off to class again. Yay me. :(

Fall Decorating

Hello everyone!
I hope everyone had an amazing Saturday.
It was such a nice day out today, I had the windows open in our apartment the whole day. :)

Today I spent my day in my PJ's and cleaned up our apartment.
{Believe it or not there is still things in boxes that need to be unpacked!}

I also decided to put out the fall decorations I have.
It's not much, but it definitely made our apartment look more festive.

All of these items were under $5 each at a local craft store.
You really don't need to spend a lot!

The two scarecrows were purchased at Wal-Mart for .97 each. They were originally on sticks and I cut them off and glued magnets on the back, and Tah-Dah, I have magnets for my plain fridge. :)

These guys are my FAVORITE.
Their hair is all over the place and I love it. :)
I believe these are what cost the most and they still were only $4.99!

My centerpiece for our kitchen table.

My fun pumpkin decorating adventure.

It's weird that when I went on Pinterest and the person said use Tulip Puffy paint and it said on the bottle that it was fabric paint. I figured I'd give it a try, and it still worked out!
It definitely took a long time to dry but it was definitely worth it. :)

I hope everyone is having an awesome weekend!
Tomorrow the Fiance's family might come  visit, that'll be nice!
