What I'm Packing for My Birthday Weekend

Happy Thursday!

Today was another rough day at work but it's ok because at 5:00 I officially started my weekend.

As I was packing tonight I decided to take pictures to share with you all what I plan on wearing. Not that you won't see them for my "Recap of My Weekend Post" this coming Monday. If you'd like to follow along to my weekend you can add me on snapchat username: vzaleski or Instagram: vzaleski

Mini haul from Kohls - more on this in a separate post. But I plan on wearing the pink and orange Fila hoodie for when we go to Terror Behind the Walls.

The back of the sweater has a deep v-neck. I am a little worried about wearing the faux leather leggings but I thought this light pink sweater would soften up the look. I've always wanted a pair but I am so worried about wearing them in public! I don't know why! Haha. It's a challenge I'm willing to accept.

Remember when the Alexander McQueen skull scarf was huge? I thought I could wear this when I go to Terror Behind the Walls.

These two items I picked up at Ross recently. The jeans were on clearance for only $8.99 and are by far the most comfortable part of jeans I've tried on yet. The sweater was $16.99 and has that aztec feel.

What really drew me into this sweater is the fringe on the bottom of it. I love it!

I picked up these two necklaces awhile ago from Forever 21. I love the simplicity of them. The one on the left was only $3.80 and the one on the right was $1.80. Got to love the cheap jewelry from Forever 21.

I don't know if I'll have time to do a blog post tomorrow but I will try! Even if it's short. :)

Have a good night and a good weekend if we don't talk tomorrow! :)

Wedding Wednesday: I said Yes to the Dress! & Nails

Happy Wedding Wednesday!

This past weekend I tried on wedding dresses at a local boutique and said yes to the dress. It was such an amazing experience I will never forget. I cried, my mom cried, my MOH cried. It was just an emotional experience and I think it was even more emotional for me because it has taken me SO long to get to this point in my life it finally feels like I'm getting to the right place!
I was so thankful to have the support of my mom & MOH.

My original intentions of the trip was to try on wedding dresses so I didn't feel overwhelmed when I went to Kleinfield in New York. I have always wanted to go to Kleinfield ever since I got engaged (5 years ago). We are still planning a trip to go but I don't have any intentions on saying Yes to the Dress there. Which is ok with me because I found thee dress and it's the same dress that they have at Kleinfield but at a much better price. More on this in another post.

Unfortunately I can't post the pictures of the dress because I don't want anyone to see it until the day!

For now, I leave you with a picture of the nails I sported for the day.
"Just Engaged" by Essie
I thought it was fitting for my trip to try on dresses.

Just Engaged! is the prettiest light shimmer pink. It would also be perfect for manicures. I'm even contemplating wearing it for the day of our wedding.

I plan to do a more in depth post about my experience of trying on dresses and my over all experience of shopping for a dress at a later time. I have SO much I want to share.

For now, this will have to do.

Have a great night!

Tomorrow is my Friday since I took Friday off. So I'm up late today and don't even care. Hehe

My Birthday Outfit for Work

Happy Tuesday & Happy Birthday to me! :)

Let's just say I didn't have the best day. I worked today and I just had one of those days where everything was happening at once. It's ok, I'm still going to be off for three days for the weekend and I'll celebrate then.
I wanted to share some photos and new accessories from my outfit today!

Sweater: Charlotte Russe(old)/Skirt: Kohls (will post about in a haul)/Shoes: Target

Details.

Calories don't count on your birthday right?!

A new birthday cake charm from my mom.

Weekend Recap: Wedding Dress Shopping & Birthday Celebration + Outfits!

Happy Monday!

Linking up with Healthy Diva Eats for another Marvelous in my Mondays post.
I really enjoy recapping the events of the weekend. It almost makes Monday's not so bad! ;)
Although I really shouldn't complain, I only have a 4 day work week because I am taking Friday off. Fiance & I are heading to Philadelphia for some R&R and shopping. :)

Received some packages - more on this in another post.

I finally did something with my chalkboard for the Fall. :)

I got rid of the ombre - went darker and added caramel highlights.

Outfit I wore to try on Wedding Dresses.

I may or may not have said Yes to the Dress. ;)

I did some shopping at Ross. I wanted to look for outfits for this upcoming weekend and I did well. I scored this awesome cardigan for only $16.99 and those jeans for $8.99!

My family and best friend went for dinner at Red Lobster for my birthday. (My birthday is actually tomorrow, but since everyone works during the week we decided to celebrate early, I'm ok with that!!)
I love having visitors, it really brightens my day.

I may or may not be able to blog tomorrow. The fiance is planning on taking me for a dinner and a movie after I get out of work so it may be a late night.

Wedding Wednesday: Wedding Dress Inspiration

Happy Wedding Wednesday - on a Thursday?

Hehe. I am a day late. I was exhausted yesterday. Anyway, today will be considering my Wedding Wednesday. :)
This Saturday my MOH & Mom are coming to visit so I can try on wedding dresses before we head to Kleinfield in New York City. It was my MOH's idea and a great one. I am super excited about going I wish tomorrow was Saturday!

Today I'm going to share some Pin-spiration of Wedding Dresses that I adore.

Which one is your favorite?

Limited Edition OPI Snoopy Halloween Collection

Happy Tuesday!

I randomly stumbled upon this set of nail polishes. OPI's instagram featured a Snoopy Collection and stated that they would be at Ulta, that was 3 weeks ago and to this day I have yet to see it in Ulta, has anyone?!?!
Anyway, I found this set on eBay for a steal and picked it up since I couldn't find it at Ulta.

I love the names and the description of each color.

The fact that OPI added these nail decals made this set more desirable!

This is my favorite color to the set. "Where's my blanket?" It's a mixture of orange, yellow and black glitter. It's perfect for Halloween. I haven't seen anything like it before.

The other glitter color is "To be or not to beagle" Such an adorable name. This glitter nail polish is all different color glitters. I just love the mixture of black glitter into the nail polish.

The only downfall to this set is that the bottles are super small and don't have the names on them. If I like any of them enough I will just buy the bigger bottle. Which I am thinking of doing for "Where's my blanket?"

Also, just a little side note, how cute are these turkey's my mom made me for our fridge?! I believe she picked up the kit from Wal-Mart if you like them!

Have a good night!

Weekend Recap: Craft Fair, OOTD & Fall Carlisle Car Flea Market

Happy Monday!

Linking up with Healthy Diva Life for Marvelous in My Mondays.

This weekend was very eventful and fun. I got to do a lot of fall activities and got to spend time with some great people. :)

Saturday:

My family and fiance are big into cars - older cars. They go to car shows all the time and build their own. Recently, one of my fiance's dream's came true when he bought his first old car, a 1934 Dodge Sedan. I'm so happy for him. He has been saving for a long time now. All he got was the shell of the car and needs a whole front end, engine and suspension. Basically it's a work in progress but it's what he wanted because he wants to learn to build a car from my dad. Anyway, so where I'm going with this is that we went to a "flea market" for old cars and my fiance wanted to pick up parts.
Our view on the way to Carlisle.

Carlisle is huge - I believe I walked 5 miles!

How cool is this snowblower? I told my fiance that this is what our snow blower will look like. Haha

They also sell cars there, how cool is this car?

It's a tub made into a car!

This may be a future project of mine. A steering wheel column with a glass table top.

Sunday:
My friends and I went to Knoebels craft show. I have never been before but was looking forward to it. My main reasoning behind going was to get ideas. Did I get ideas? I think I got more than enough! :)
Too early to wear Uggs? I think not! It was freezing.

So... I was having a good hair day! :) Also, I'm trying to grow out my bangs and it's more difficult than it sounds.

My outfit for Saturday: Aztec Sweater/ANA racer back black tank/TJMaxx Jeans/Grey Uggs/Michael Kors Watch

I even got to spend time with my favorite little man. :)

If you follow me on Pinterest you know my love for Polymer Clay. Out of all the stands they only had 3 Polymer Clay stands. How stinking cute are these Santa Claus earrings?!

Polymer Clay ornaments.

I adore these snowman earrings. I needs to make me some!

These are made entirely from light bulbs.

 Enjoying the fall weather.

This was another stand with Polymer Clay that made all kinds of NFL football ornaments. Would be perfect for gifts!

Blueberry Ice Tea. Thanks to Michelle! (Check out her blog here)

Got to spend some time with my favorite people!

I also love this idea as well. My mom would love something like that. But I'm not good with wood work. Such a cute idea though!
Tomorrow I'll take pictures of my purchases and post them. Look forward to that!

Have a great night!
