Sunday Wish List

Happy Sunday!

I've had a very productive yet relaxing weekend and I can't wait to share on my Weekend Recap tomorrow!
For now I will leave you with some of the things on my "Wish List" on my Pinterest board.

As you guys know I've been trying real hard to keep up with my Wedding diet. I stumbled across this image and just love this! I can't find a direct link for purchase. For now I'll just have to admire it.

I've been wanting Ciate's ice cream collection but didn't want to purchase because it's still winter. Now that we're upon spring I'm really loving this pastel collection. You can find the collection here for only $25.

This one is more a gift for my mom & I. Mother's day is coming up and I'd love to get this for her and one for myself. My grandmother loved elephants and that has passed down onto her and now as I get older I'm loving them as well. You can find them here for $14.50

This item is something I would use for my Erin Condren Life Planner. I wouldn't purchase it any time soon as it is not necessary (is any of this stuff?) but eventually I would like to. If you interested you can find it here for $20.00

Can I be honest here? I am getting sick of my watches - shocking I know. I want something NEW! I found this Tory Burch watch and I'm in LOVE. Will I buy it? No. But I can swoon, can't I? You can find it here for $595.

Have a great rest of your Sunday!

February Ipsy Glam Bag Review

Happy Thursday!

I'm sorry for missing Wedding Wednesday! I promise I will make it up to you on Saturday. Wedding Wednesday & Saturday??? It may be happening... there is SO much happening with the wedding I can't even keep up. Haha. With both of our families asking so many questions my fiance & I are thinking of issuing a weekly newsletter. Haha
Today I want to share February's Ipsy glam bag:

This first product I have never heard of and to be honest I haven't even used it so I can't give it a proper review. It's by the brand Eva Nyc. You can find it here for $24.00.

This blush is by Model Co. A company I have heard about and wanted to try but never had the opportunity. You can find it here for $22.00. I absolutely love this blush. It gives my pale skin just the right about of color and is easily blendable. I highly recommend.

This is another product I haven't used. It's by Mitchell and Peach and it's a "fine radiance face oil". Has any one ever heard of this? To me it doesn't seem very appealing which is probably the main reason I haven't used it. Not to mention it doesn't smell good. If you have tried this and have a proper review please leave a comment below! You can find it here for $30.

I was SO excited to see this eyelash curler in the ipsy bag this month! I am in need of a new one. I have used this a couple times and I am a fan! It's by the brand Emite and you can find it here for $25. I was also excited to see all the extra refills. Even my Shu Umera eye lash curler didn't come with this many refills and I paid just as much.

Swatches of the Model Co blush(left) and Colour Pop lip stain(right)

I have to say I love the color of this lip stain but it is a bit too sticky for my taste. But some people like that so I'm not putting it down! I will definitely use this. You can find it here for only $4.99!

I did really love 3 out of the 5 products so not too bad!

Have a great night!

Weekend Recap: OOTD's, Easter Lush Collection & Weekend Getaway

Happy Tuesday!

The past 5 days have been amazingly hectic, so to be sitting here right now at my apartment feels amazing.
Thursday my fiance went in for a procedure so I have to take a half day at work and Friday I also had to take a half day because I have been without my car for 2 weeks because of a recall so I had to pick that up. Then for the weekend, because my fiance is on spring break, he wanted to go to AC. So that's what we did. Then Monday morning driving to work my car's caliper's froze up for sitting for two weeks because of the stupid recall and I basically almost couldn't stop the car. I was late for work and then had to travel BACK home to pick up my car and then get up super early to go work again. That was my weekend in a nut shell!

Friday:

I stopped at Lush because they released their Easter line and I had 3 items on my wish list. Look how adorable everything is!

AC boardwalk at like midnight.

My simple OOTD.
Blanket scarf made by me from Joann Fabrics/Fit Bit/Kohls sweater/Old Navy jeans/Macy's boots

How adorable is my home made blanket scarf. It kept me super warm too. :)

Saturday:

Old Navy dress and scarf/Michael Kors Watch/Fit Bit/Macy's boots

"Want to take a picture?"
"Sure"
*hides face*
FAIL

We did some outlet shopping and wanted to share a purchase. Will post pictures of what I bought another day.
I've been really trying to work out and eat healthy and after looking at this picture and other's I'm feeling better about my weight. I know it sounds stupid but the Fit Bit is really helping me!

Little shopping haul.

Sunday:

New York & Company Poncho/Old Navy Jeans/Michael Kors watch/Fit Bit/Leopard flats

We went to Philadelphia to register our gifts for our bridal shower and it is very overwhelming. Tomorrow we are going somewhere else to do more. It's fun but it's a lot to think about. It's hard for my fiance & I because we already live together and have a lot but we want newer items because ours is getting old, so we're trying to upgrade a lot of things we have.

I also want to mention that I found my wedding band and it's absolutely stunning. I cannot wait to share! I promise I will share after the wedding!

Monday:

Yes, I wore the same dress Saturday and Monday! I had no work clothes at home and didn't pack any, so it's what I was stuck with. Don't judge me.

This is a girl I work with and she was coming out of a meeting and I was talking with the CFO and we literally looked at each other and burst into laughter. The CEO, CFO, the girl I work with and me could not stop laughing. We had to take pictures together!
It was funny because she is actually getting promoted and I had to interview a potential employee taking over her position and I said to the lady "I promise if you get the job we don't have to match". It was the funniest thing ever. We all could not stop laughing.

I'm finally home in my nice warm apartment and I don't want to be anywhere else. :)

Have a great night!

Collective Victoria Secrets Haul

Happy Thursday!

When I mean collective - I mean collective since the holiday's - collective haul. Some of these items were purchased with the Victoria Secrets rewards card, some were purchased at the Victoria Secrets Semi Annual Sale and others were gift card purchases.
As I am getting older, I am having a hard time justifying purchasing a $50 hoodie. I don't wear them as much as I use to now that I have a real career. I rather buy a nice pencil skirt or sweater. So it's rare now that I step inside a Pink store unless there is a sale or I have a gift card.
Does anyone else feel this way?

Anyway, here are some of my exciting purchases:

I love the color of this thermal. The burgundy red color is really in and I can see myself wearing this with leggings and a vest. Plus I scored this for $10 with a Secret Reward card.

These sequin stripped leggings were part of the Fashion Show 2014. I also used a reward card on these and got them for $14.50. As you can see I haven't worn them yet. I am having a hard time with the pairing something up with the sequins. I think I am over thinking it. Haha.

This hoodie was purchased at a Semi Annual Sale. I absolutely love this heather grey. I don't own anything like it. And it's super soft inside.

I received a gift card for Victoria Secrets so I purchased the next two items for absolutely FREE! Those are the best purchases.
I am in love with this sweater for the mere factor of the back of it.

I love how the back of this sweater is open. I can see myself wearing this on the beach with shorts.

I don't know what is with me and the half zip's but I am wearing this one ALL the time when I get home from work. I think it's because of it's warmth. It's fleeced lined.

I hope to blog tomorrow but don't know if I can. This weekend my fiance and I are going to register for our bridal shower. We are so excited!

If I don't blog, I hope everyone has a fantastic weekend!

Wedding Wednesday: Flower Inspiration

Happy Wedding Wednesday!

Last week when I made an appointment with a potential florist she asked me to bring photos and color swatches. I was baffled. At that point I had no idea what I wanted. So where did I go? Pinterest.
Pinterest has literally been a life saver when it comes to inspirational photos.

So before I went to the florist I started to save some photos from Pinterest that I liked.
All I knew was that I wanted tall center pieces in white vases with lots of pink and orange flowers.

Here are some inspirational photos I showed the florist:

I like the clear beading going down the middle of the center pieces. I think with uplighting it will make them pop.

I was also looking for flowers for the table numbers for when people enter our venue.

And this white vase is what I truly fell in love with. And ever since this picture (literally) I knew I wanted white vases.

I think we will also be doing floating candles from the centerpieces. Our florist really fell in love with this photo and said she would love to recreate this for us, but in our colors.

I was also looking for inspiration for our pews at the church.
This was the only picture I found that I liked, I am still on the hunt.

It's hard for me with flowers because I don't truly love flowers. Nor did I want to break the budget for our wedding just for flowers. But my fiance talked me into getting what I wanted so we'll be spending more than I like, but I believe the outcome will be worth it.

Our florist will be doing a mock up of the design we like so I am looking forward to seeing her design and seeing it come to reality.

Have a great night!

Weekend Recap: Florist, Philosophy & Washi Tape

Happy Tuesday!

I got a text this morning from my dad stating there are only 17 days until Spring!
The weather was horrific here today, so bad I left work at 1 today because of the amount of snow and sleet we got. Working from home is nice. :)
So I am really looking forward to the Spring! I don't know about you, but this winter seems like it's dragging.

Friday:

On Thursday I got my blood work taken for this Wellness program through our health insurance. I got the blood work taken for my cholesterol levels and you will not believe what the nurse did to me. First I'd like to say that I work for a health clinic and the nurses there did not perform the blood work but our health insurance plan had nurses come in. Anyway, see what happened:

I apologize for the graphic-ness of this but I had to share. By Friday this is what my arm looked like and it didn't stay like this, the blood that was draining in my arm actually went down to my wrist!
I had one of the doctors where I work(a benefit of where I work - thank God!) and they said that it will be fine and that the nurse didn't puncture an artery (thankfully). Has this happened to anyone else? This was truly so scary for me. I'm afraid to get blood work for our Wedding now! I don't want my arm looking like this on our wedding day. I need to research how much in advance I can get blood work done so I can avoid this!

Friday we also met with our Florist and we are officially booked! Here are some inspirational pictures I took with me:

Friday also marked the 4 month mark until our wedding!!

Saturday:

I finally started to use some of the samples I've been accumulating (almost embarrassing how many I have!). Since I've been breaking out so badly (which by the way, I recently saw a dermatologist for, more on that later), I wanted to try this sample out. I've heard a lot of good things about Philosophy products but have only used their body washes and body lotions.
I've used this sample about 3 times now and surprisingly no break outs so far - at least no new ones. I may want to consider a full size.

Saturday I took the time to take blog pictures and clean our closet (something I've been wanting to do for a while). While I was doing that I decided to burn the Bath & Body Works Vanilla Snowflake - smells amazing!
I have accumulated so many candles that I made a promise to myself that I would not purchase any more until some of mine are gone!

I went to the Dollar Tree just to get out of the house for a little bit because I've been seeing all these cute washi tapes on Instagram from there I wanted to check it out.
Low and behold I found these beauties while I was there. I'll be using them for my Erin Condren Life Planner. I want to get some green washi tape for March weeks. Any ideas???

I have nothing to share from Sunday. My fiance & I literally laid around watching Netflix all day!

Have a great night!

Weekend Recap: Unicorn Lush Bath Bomb, Bridal Shower & Invitations

Happy Monday!

 Friday:

Friday night was relaxing, I got to use my Lush Unicorn bath bomb. I broke it up into two pieces to be able to use it two times but I really think I could have broken it up into three pieces.
SO excited to use this!

Bubbles, bubbles, bubbles!

Bath tub was very colorful!

Saturday:
As you know, I went home this past weekend to look at my Bridal Shower venue with my family. Well guess what? It's officially booked! I was a little worried about this place because I didn't like any of the food but low and behold they had a breakfast menu, so I am happy about that. All thanks to my family for helping me!
I will be sharing more on my blog this week with pictures of the place.

Saturday I spent my day making my invitations for the Bridal Shower.

Sunday:
As I was packing up to come back home Sweetie was hanging out with me the whole time. He wouldn't leave my side. What a loyal dog. He must have known I was leaving.

That's all I have to share from the weekend. I'm saving photos for later this week, I have so much wedding details to share I don't want to post about them yet!
