Wedding Photo - Thank You Banner

Happy Thursday!

As I am waiting for my nails to dry, I decided to do a quick post on one of the photos we got back from our Wedding. If you follow me on instagram(vanessaperrins) you may have already saw this, but I wanted to share it on my blog.
I ordered a Thank You banner on etsy.com to take pictures with to send out a picture card as our official thank you card. I saw many images on Pinterest and I decided to jump on the band wagon.

After hand writing all my bridal shower thank you's, I thought this was the best bet.
It's one of the only photos I've gotten back so far, so I am literally obsessing over it! So, we ordered our Thank You photos, once I get them in, I will share.

But I HAD to share a photo from our wedding. It's in color and black and white. :)

Enjoy!

This photo was taken after our ceremony at my work. Unfortunately, it rained on our Wedding day and I couldn't think of any other place besides my work to take photos. I can't wait to see the rest of them!!!!

Wedding Wednesday: Honeymoon Day 2 in Jamaica Couples Resort

Happy Wedding Wednesday!

Today I am sharing day 2 of our adventures at Couples Resort, Negril Jamaica.
See here for Day 1.

Our first day enjoying the beach. Look at that beautiful Caribbean water!

The beach towels were stored in this little hut - fresh daily. Plus you drop them off once you're through using them. I loved the idea.

Is this scenery not just the best? I couldn't get enough of these beautiful palm trees.

There was a little private jacuzzi that no one was using, so we took advantage of it.

On our second day they offered a trip to a local craft market where everything is hand made by the locals. We found a lot of our souvenirs for family there. Plus, I have a great appreciation for anything homemade, and so does my hubby so we loved it there.

Another beautiful tree in Jamaica.

Every night we had a little snack delivered to our room. I believe just the beach front suites get this amenity.

Later in the evening we enjoyed another Jamaican beef patty. We just couldn't get enough. We had them for a snack every. single. day.

The 7 mile Negril beach is known for it's sunsets. And they truly don't disappoint. I couldn't get enough pictures of it!

An outfit I wore the second day:

This is one of my favorite photos from the trip of my hubby and I.

Have a great night!

Weekend Recap: Cricut Anchor, Infused Water, New Pandora Charms

Happy Monday!

I had a very uneventful, but productive weekend. Sometimes those are the best weekends. :)

I thoroughly cleaned more poor Cobalt, it needed it. It hasn't been deep cleaned since about March. I emptied everything out of it and vacuumed. The poor thing.

I wanted to share something a co-worker made for me from her Cricut. I really would love to have a Cricut, but am still trying to justify it before I do.
But how adorable is this? I can't wait to hang it in our bathroom. Our bathroom in our apartment is nautical themed.

When I bought a bunch of fruit I had all the intentions in the world to start infusing my water while I'm at work. Luckily I have this new cup from our honeymoon to use. I used lemons and strawberries when I infused this water. It was very yummy!

Saturday definitely called for some ice cream. It was beautiful out!

Sunday I relaxed on the porch with Sweetie. Isn't he just so adorable?

I sported my Call of Duty Shirt on Sunday. Looking forward to the new release in November. I'm such a nerd.

I also have some new charms from Jamaica I finally brought out. There was tax and duty free shopping in Jamaica at the airport so I took advantage of that. I picked up the fish and airplane. You can't see it, but this airplane has Jamaica stamped on it. I'll always remember it as my honeymoon. :)

Literally, that's all I did this weekend. Sometimes you just need those kind of weekends. :)

Wedding Wednesday: Honeymoon Day 1

Happy Wedding Wednesday!

I've decided to continue on blogging about my Wedding. I miss it so much that it's all I think about. Since I didn't post everything I wanted to, I decided to keep it running until I have nothing else to blog about.
I've decided to do a series of Honeymoon posts, talking about my trip to Jamaica.

We originally wanted to do Bora Bora, but after looking at costs we decided against it. We knew we wanted to do an all inclusive resort with couples only and it had to be somewhere we had to fly because we both have never flown before.

After looking at many options we decided to go with Couples Resort, Negril, Jamaica.

Onto Day 1 of our journey:

Like I said before, we have never flown before, so this was definitely an experience. Luckily we had my hubby's brother guide us through the process. Which isn't that bad once you get the hang of what you're suppose to do.
We flew US Airways.

I was lucky enough to switch seats with the person who had window seat. Not to mention I had a view of the wing.

We got up super early (4AM early), so we are a bit tired, but really excited to go to Jamaica!

I think my favorite thing about flying is take off. It's like a super fast car racing.

Free drinks? I'll take it. Plus I was enjoying my new accessory (wedding ring) so much, I had to snap a photo.

Once we arrived in Jamaica and went through the air port there was a lounge just for our resort. Which I was impressed with, not sure if all resorts have this? We checked into the front desk of the airport and they got our vehicle ready. The resort took our luggage from there and we had nothing to worry about. As they would say - No Problem!

The resort was a hour and a half away from the air port and I loved looking at all of the scenery Jamaica had to offer. Plus they had adorable goat EVERY WHERE along side the road. It was too cute.

Look at that Caribbean water!

Our room wasn't ready yet when we got there so we grabbed some lunch.
What I didn't mention was how hot & humid it is in Jamaica. I was wearing my Bride hoodie and capri's. Haha. I must have looked like such an idiot. I immediately took off my hoodie once we started to eat.
And what did we get to eat? Hot chicken noodle soup! Haha. It was very yummy.

We sprung and got the beach front suite. After all, it is our honeymoon.
I do have better pictures of the room that I will share later.

This is the outfit I immediately changed into - tank and shorts. Easy enough.

The rest of the evening we spent drinking some delicious Jamaican mixed drinks. Let's say we got pretty drunk and passed out. I never understood what people met by jet lagged - but I think that's what I had! Haha.

Have a great night!

My Summer Bag

Happy Tuesday!

I have been wanting to post this for the last month or so, but with Wedding planning, this poor blog was put on the back burner. I don't know how people do it! Hats of to you. :)
I usually have such good luck finding hand bags at Bebe, but usually I end up paying about $100 or more for one, so I try to budget myself for a Spring/Summer & Fall/Winter purse. I just can't justify spending more on a handbag - maybe one day.

My hubby & I were shopping at the Philadelphia Premium Outlets a couple of months ago and I decided to pop into the Bebe outlet. (Something I've never done - don't ask me why!)
So I was just browsing for a summer purse, I actually had one in mind and thought I might find it there - slim chance, I know.

But I found something I liked more and the price was amazing on it!

Here she is:

This bag is the perfect size for work too - it fits my laptop from work when I need to travel, which is something I can't find!
Plus call me crazy, but I love all the compartments in this hand bag as well.

I didn't think you would believe me when I told you this so I had to take a picture of the receipt.
I scored this bag for $33.38. On clearance for $62.99 plus an additional 50% off!

I have gotten many compliments on this bag as well. It's probably one of my favorite handbags to date, the price may be swaying my opinion on this though. :)

I was recently at the outlets this past weekend and popped into Bebe and I may have found a Fall handbag...
If I could keep getting sales on these handbags there's a good possibility I can get 4 a year instead of 2! haha.

Have a great night!

Weekend Recap: Random trip to Philly & New Jersey

Happy Monday!

Isn't that what summer is about? Not just vacations but taking random - unplanned - weekend trips, because you can? I love random weekend getaways. My hubby (yes, I can say hubby now, makes me blush every time) loves random weekend getaways as well.
This past weekend, after work, my hubby & I took a trip to Philadelphia and to New Jersey.

Here's the weekend in photos:

Leaving work on Friday with clear blue skies makes me happy & excited for what the weekend holds.

Saturday:

Here's my outfit for a day of shopping.

(Wal-Mart white blazer, Target blue tank, Wal-Mart shorts, Charlotte Russe necklace, Michael Kors watch)

My hubby & I happy to spend the weekend together.

We went to the King of Prussia mall first for lunch, but Sephora is near and I just had to stop in. I was looking for new liners so, of course, I had to test all of them on my hand (joking, but hubby thought I was). I'll reveal which one I picked later this week, but this is what my hand looked like the remaining part of our day. Some of these eyeliners really do have some great staying power!

So, of course, I made a purchase or 2. :)
We also went to the outlets, because I adore them so much, I can't help myself.

Sunday:
We went to the Columbus, NJ flea market/farmer's market.
I have been craving Jersey corn, so I picked some up for us for dinner some time this week.
Not to mention I picked up a bunch of fruit. Got to love Jersey fresh!

Blueberries, strawberries, watermelon - oh my!
We picked up a different watermelon this time, it's called Sugar Baby watermelon. And it's actually a lot darker on the outside and much sweeter on the inside. It is really delicious and next time we go I need to pick up more.
As soon as we got home Sunday I cut up all the fruit and made myself little fruit salad's for lunch.

Today was a late day for me at work, I had to stay for a board of director's meeting. So I'm really tired, so please excuse my lack of excitement! But I truly do love random weekend getaways. I hope there is more before this summer is over. :)

Have a great night!
