Sunday Wish List

Happy Sunday!

Ever have a Sunday wear you can't sleep in? I guess because I slept so much yesterday I couldn't sleep today. I hate that.
I don't know if this will be a regular post but I definitely want to do it sometimes. I see other bloggers do it and thought I'd join in.

I hear a lot of talk about Real Techniques brushes on the blogging world. They're definitely a more affordable option. I'm thinking of trying out this set. You can find it here.

Now that fall/winter is upon us, I'm having a hard time with lighting and photos for my blog. I've been wanting umbrella lighting but just haven't pulled the trigger. I found these last night on Amazon.com, you can find the exact lighting here.

First can I say how adorable this set looks? It's won Allure's best in beauty, and you guys clearly know how much I love my bubble baths, I'd like to try this out. You can find it here.

Unfortunately, this set is now unavailable but they're cute nonetheless!

How adorable are these marshmallow mugs? You can find them here

What's on your Wish List? Have you made up your Christmas Wish List yet?

Ulta Haul

Happy Saturday!

Today I have a little Ulta haul to share. Last month I had my birthday coupon so I decided to make a trip plus I had 2X the points for my birthday month. I'm real close to making it to the next level for Ulta!
As you can see I was in need of some new EOS lip balms. I live little eggs around my apartment, so they get used up rather quickly, I even have an EOS egg sitting on my desk at work. Hehe

You may have already seen this polish in my previous post. But I am show casing it again. It's the Zoya velvet matte polish. It's been all over Pinterest for a while now, but hasn't been in stores so when I saw it I grabbed it.

The color is Poshmat. They do have more velvet colors, but I decided on this one.

This was also featured on my previous post. This was really an impulse buy and I should have bought something cheaper. I'm kind of regretting it, but it did work well when I wore it.

I've been looking for this EOS Coconut Milk lip balm for a while now. I feel like it's sold out every where. It really does smell like coconut milk - more milk than coconut. I use it everyday now.

This is the limited edition Rachey Roy EOS collection.

Calvin Klein mascara, it was Ulta's birthday gift for this year. I didn't even know Calvin Klein made makeup, do they just make mascara?

The brush tip actually reminds me of the Buxom bristles. I have high hopes for this. I haven't tried it yet, I'm currently testing Model Co's Volume Eyes that came in my Ipsy October bag(which, btw, I'm loving!)

A cool "feature" the mascara does have is that the tip actually twists, I don't know how that actually works when you're using it because it's not like it locks into place. Have you tried this mascara?

This was on my Christmas Wish List but I decided to buy it early, in fear that it would be sold out by the time Christmas comes. You can find it here for $19. I didn't think that was too expensive considering you get a sample of mascara and an extra pad to change. I have no purchased a mascara wand in over 3 years. My Shuemura has lasted me forever.

That's all I have for you today. I went to Hobby Lobby and Christmas Tree Shop today so I will have more to share this coming week!

Have a great rest of your weekend. <3

Fall Nail Polish Haul & Flocking Powder

Happy Thursday!

Guess what? We almost made it through another work week. Before you know it, it'll be Thanksgiving holiday!
Anyway, I've acquired these nail polishes along the way and wanted to share. It's a rather random haul because some of it I've had for some time just haven't had a chance to take pictures.

I picked up both of these Essie nail polishes for $5 each at the Philadelphia Premium Outlets. Which is unheard of! I also found an Urban Decay glitter liner which I was excited about because I don't own any. I believe it was also $5.

The colors are Maximillion Strasse-her & Fair Game.
I don't know if both of them are part of their permanent line or these may be seasonal because they're at the outlets.

I also picked up this Goulish Glow by China Glaze at Ulta when they had their 20% off.

I wore these nail stickers by Kiss on Halloween and topped it with the Goulish Glow. It's just a fun nail polish to use.

I also picked up Flocking Powder by Martha Stewart at Michaels and used it for my Football Nails for the Eagles game. But I have more looks saved on Pinterest I want to recreate.

The green is supposed to represent grass - what do you think?

Have a great night!

Wedding Wednesday: Brooch Bouquet

Happy Wedding Wednesday!

Today I want to talk about the type of bouquet I plan on having for my wedding.
I didn't want to go with the typical flower bouquet, they just don't last.
I saw on Pinterest images of brooch bouquets and I was just swooning. I love them and think it's a great idea.

So for our wedding that's what I plan on doing for the bouquets, including the bridesmaids.
I'm excited about the fact that once I do make it and use it for our wedding I'll be able to keep it after.
I even found shadow boxes I could put it in and include a picture of our wedding.

Here's just a couple images of inspiration I'll be using and a How-To on how to make it. Now I just need to order the supplies and try to make it!! Ahhh!

I can't decide whether to go with a classic rhinestone and pearl or the colors of our wedding so the bouquet pops against my dress. I guess we will see.
I'm hoping the shoppe I want to go for the brooches has a sale Black Friday so I can finally purchase and make my bouquet!

Have a nice night!

Ciate's Mini Mani Manor Advent Calendar Review & Last Year's Comparison

Happy Tuesday!

I picked up the Ciate's Mini Mani Manor Advent Calendar on Sephora's website which you can find here. It will set you back $60, but you get free shipping for spending over $50 and you get free samples.

I am going to do a little comparison of last year's Ciate Mini Mani Advent Calendar with this years.
There are only 3 out of the 24 nail polishes that are the same from last year:
Kiss Chase
Ivory Queen
Confetti

I loved last year's packaging but this year's really took the cake. I love how they made it into a "Manor". It reminds me of a doll house when you open it up!

 These are the colors included.

As you can tell the packaging is much bigger this year than last year, which may be considered a downfall for some because of storage. But you may like the bigger look, completely preference.

Last year's numbers were much more visible. This year the numbers are in gold. Which I like.
I love love love that they included pearls this year instead of the caviar beads like last year. Don't get me wrong I love the caviar beads but I also like switching it up! So the fact that they gave pearls gets me excited and I can't wait to use them in my nail art.
By the way, I am going in order of the days.

 From left to right:
Kiss Chase(same as last year), Cha Cha Cha, Meet me in MayFair, Girl with a Pearl
Meet me in MayFair is the feather nail polish that I haven't had a chance to use. Feather nail polish was huge this year so I'm looking forward to using them.

 From left to right:
Espadrilles(such a pretty glitter red color!), Ivory Queen(same as last years), Loop the loop, Boom Box

Not only do you get white pearls they also include black pearls.. ahh!

Mineral Love (love this!), Prima Ballerina(this is glitter), Strawberry Milkshake(how cute is the name?), Back to Black Pearls

From left to right: Superficial, Beach Bum, Let it Snow Glitter, Knee Highs

 From left to right:
Apple & Custard, Confetti, Talent Scout, Slumber Party glitter

This year they are also giving you nail transfers, which are perfect for the season. I haven't tried any of Ciate's nail transfers so I'm excited to try them. (I'm not sure if Fair Isle is a permanent part of Ciate's line?)

From left to right:
Power Dressing, Mistress, Celestial
Day 24 is always a full sized version of Ciate's nail polish. I like last year's better than this year's. Not to mention we have 3 silver glitter colors in this month's collection.

Overall, I am extremely excited and Ciate did not disappoint. And I cannot wait for December 1 to apply the first color.

I haven't decided if I'll post the nail colors every day on my blog but they will definitely be on my Instagram (vzaleski) or my Facebook page since I am trying to utilize that more, which can be found here.

Will you be purchasing this year's advent calendar?
