Memorial Day Weekend Outfits

Happy Tuesday!

The RSVP's are coming in and it's getting me more and more excited for our big day.
Just 32 short days away!

I made sure to take pictures of my outfits this weekend to share on the blog.
I must say, I think my fiance is getting use to my outfit pictures. Haha.

I absolutely loved this red maxi skirt. It was super comfortable!

The beach was surprisingly packed! The beach bars were open and we were just enjoying life, looking forward to what the summer has to bring.

Wedding Wednesday: Our Custom Made Pink & Orange Wedding Invitations

Happy Wedding Wednesday!

I am hoping (and praying) that it is ok to post our wedding invitations. I am almost certain everyone who reads this blog has gotten their invitation.
I am not even going to going into the horrific experience I went through to get these invitations. I am not even going to give credit to the company that custom made these, because even though they are beautiful it took me well over a month and a half to receive them(when we were told only two weeks)...

Today I am sharing our pink and orange wedding invitations.

This is the inside flaps.

If I could block the company name I would...
Here's how they came, all wrapped pretty in a bow. :)

All the outside bows were pre-tied so all we needed to do was put them onto the outside of the invitation.

RSVP cards

We paid the extra $2 per invitation to get the names addressed so all we needed to do was send them out.

This is the invite.

Our RSVP cards.
Our dinner options are:
Mahi with Mango Salsa
Stuffed Chicken
Petite Lobster with Beef Tenderloin
Kids Meal

On our RSVP cards you will also notice you can reply on our website. In case you don't feel like mailing. On our website is also additional information about hotel accommodations (since we are having most of our guests travel and don't know the area, this is a good idea).

This is the outside of the invitation with the bow attached.

I truly LOVE our invitations but it took hell to get them. As quick as we got them was as quick as they went out the door. And then it took longer for people to receive them so that was another headache wondering if anyone received their invitations.

I guess throughout this whole wedding planning experience if this is the only headache I've had, I guess I shouldn't complain. I am thankful and they are beautiful.

I hope you enjoy!

Weekend Recap: Honeymoon Shopping, Ipsy, Fitting Room Pics

Happy Tuesday!

This past weekend I did some shopping. I am mainly looking for items for the honeymoon, but I did purchase a dress for this upcoming weekend - Memorial Day 3 Day Weekend! Who else is beyond excited besides me?!
Friday:

After work my fiance & I went to TJMaxx to look at luggage for our honeymoon. (I've had my luggage for over 5+ years now and it's just not practical for our honeymoon). I couldn't find any luggage I liked, but I did stumble upon this dress and shoes.
I scored this dress for just $14.99!

I also scored the pictured Michael Kors flip flops for only $34.99!

I also received May's Ipsy bag and I am loving this bag, not just the bag but the contents as well. I can't wait to share!

Saturday:

Since I had such a horrific experience with the lady who designed my invitations I am no longer going through her for my stationary (IE programs, menu cards, etc). I decided to look elsewhere and stumbled upon a website called Magnetstreet.com. I found the menu cards I love and they should be arriving tomorrow.
Below is a picture of one of my options that I designed but decided to go with something different. It's still pretty though!

I went to K-Mart to look for shorts, since I still have not switched out my winter clothes to my summer clothes. I didn't find any I liked but I found the below Adam Levine striped dress for only $15. I'm thinking of wearing it this upcoming Memorial Weekend. It's a soft light weight jersey knit.

Since we are going to LBI I decided to pick up a kite. I am seriously obsessed with Minions so I picked up this kit for only $4.00!

I didn't know what to do with the sign from my bridal shower, but I decided to hang it next to my chalkboard that has the official countdown. I thought it was a good place for it!

Saturday I spent a lot of time taking pictures for my blog (as promised I'm trying to blog more!).
In an upcoming post you will see these two adorable glasses from Michael's my mom purchased for us. (she's adorable)

Sunday:

Sunday we drove home for the day because my cousin's son had his first Communion party. So it was a nice day. Before we headed back we made a quick pit stop for some ice cream. It was beyond delicious! :)
Have a great night.

42 Days till I say I Do!

Happy Saturday!

I really can't believe it's been over a month since I've last blogged - since Easter! It doesn't even feel like it!
I'm so exhausted between work and planning the wedding I don't even have a free minute to myself, little alone blog, so I apologize!

Today is a pretty low key day for me so I'm taking time to take pictures for my blog and I'm also picking out menu cards for the wedding. It's hard to believe that I'm down to the little details - like picking out menu cards. I can't believe my wedding is in 42 days. I am beyond excited!

I'm not really sure the point of this blog post, but just to share that I promise next week I will put my best effort into blogging. I'm upset I missed a lot of Wedding Wednesday's. I have done so much for the wedding and I didn't capture it. I'm not just doing the Wedding Wednesday's to share, but also as my own little personal diary that I can look back on. I know once the wedding is over that I will be sad not planning it anymore and I'd like to look back at my blog and follow my planning phases. Maybe that's what I'll do, is maybe 2 or 3 Wedding posts. Just for my own personal sake, and I hope that you guys enjoy it as well. I do know that I have friends and family that read my blog so I am a weary on how much I share, so maybe I won't. I also know that some people read my blog posts for the wrong reasons, which I will not get into.

My bridal shower also recently passed on April 26th. If you follow me on Instagram(vzaleski) you would have seen pictures from the big day. It was truly a day to remember and I was smiling from ear to ear. I plan on doing a post on that as well, so look forward to that. I was so thankful for everyone that came and the people that traveled to help celebrate it as well. I received SO many wonderful and beautiful gifts that I can't even put into words how grateful I am.

Our website is almost complete as well - my fiance's best friend who is a software engineer is making it from scratch and I'm so thankful for his patience through the whole process. Once it's complete I will share the actual website address.
