Just another day of classes. The devastation keeps getting worse in my hometown, but I'll do a post about that later. I just wanted to quickly share my outfit of the day that I wore to classes. My fiance and I are currently making dinner and going to sit down to watch a movie. Perfect way to end the week! :)
I'm praying for all my friends and family back at home. They're under a state of emergency right now. There's severe flooding all throughout the county and I'm terrified. This is the 2nd biggest natural since 1972, and it might even match up to that. In 1972 we had Hurricane Agnes which flooded my hometown, even my home. My father purchased our home after the flood. So it's seen it's better days. And now that this is happening, we're afraid it's going to be a repeat of what happened in 1972. Unfortunately, I'm away at school right now, and there's no possible way of my fiance and I getting home. I wish I was there! Roads are blocked off, there's now a curfew because the city is afraid of people looting businesses and homes. So many homes and businesses are under water right now it makes my heart drop right into my stomach. They were showing homes that were completely swept away and it made me want to cry. My heart goes out to them. So I'm asking you guys to pray for all the people in Pennsylvania that are being affected by this awful natural disaster and pray that they can come home to their houses in 1 piece, and even if they don't pray that they'll be strong and make it through this crisis. ♥ my rainboots. I seriously can not get enough of them.. I feel so invincible when I wear them! It wasn't until last year when I moved here that I got my first pair of rainboots and now I'm hooked. Seriously, how did I go through the last 23 years of my life without them?! I have 2 pairs year to date, but I'm longing for a pair of pink Hunter rain boots. In time.. in time.. is it too early to start a Christmas list? Teehee.
I always have such a hard time pairing up my pink polkadot rainboots with an outfit. I never seem to find that right outfit. I even googled images to see what I could wear. Nonetheless, I decided on this.

On sale for $19.99, sign up for their emails and you get 10% off, so I paid $17.99 + shipping. Not bad considering I wanted to buy them for $60. Haha. See good things come to people who wait! :) Well kind of... I absolutely love these shoes, I'm so happy I bought them. My birthday is coming up and I want to wear them with a dress I've been eying up. :D I really don't have dressy dressy black shoes because I'm so tall, so I always lean towards flats, but these only have a 1 3/4 inch wedge, so they're perfect.
Another quick outfit of the day before I head out the door for classes. I'm going home this weekend to wrap up somethings and to pick up things I forgot to bring. I'm even considering bringing back boots because I have no clue when I'll be back home. Plus it's getting dark earlier..Boo! And soon it'll start getting colder. Damn you fall!
I know I've been doing quite a bit of these lately, but I actually have the time to pick out outfits now and take time to look half way decent! So I figured it's a good way for me to blog everyday. I hope you enjoy these and get some ideas for yourself. Basically I was going to class, yet again, today and decided to wear comfy white shorts with a plaid top. It was actually raining in the morning here so I was hoping to wear my rainboots and new umbrella, but by the time I had class it cleared up. Boo. So this is what I went with!
This will be my last beach post! I'm just rounding up the week since Wednesday(the day we had our engagement photos.) By the way, we'll be ordering our engagement photos soon and I can't wait to post ALL of them and share my experience with Ann Coen.. :) I have a few photos from the morning before we had our actual session to show you how my outfit turned out...
