Office Supplies & Target Shopping

Happy Wednesday!

As most of you know, I got my own office a few weeks ago and I'm still trying to put things together and purchase things. So I stopped by Target two weekends ago to pick up some office supplies, like notebooks, paper clips, etc.
I don't know about you, but I love Target's $1 bins. They're always filled with such amazing stuff, and it's only $1 or $2.50! Such a good deal for office supplies.

I purchased this calendar and a planner.
I'd like to talk about what I use the planner for in another blog post.
And the calendar I wanted to use for my office but I decided against it, but I'm going to keep it because it was only $7.99 and it's chevron.. soo.. I will find a use for it.

These cute little corkboards were only $1.00 each.

Nautical stripped top - $19.99
"Coupon" book for work. $1.00 I'm going to use this for receipts for purchases at work from employees. {More on this in a separate post}

I also purchased the Vaseline spray & go. I noticed a lot of bloggers being sponsored for this, I am not one of them, I bought this with my own money. But I really wanted to try it, because after every shower I do put lotion on and it is a pain to wait for it to dry.
I also picked up a Elf setting spray and a lip stain.

I literally went into Target for just office supplies and walked out with more than I wanted. I swear it's addicting.

Have a great night!

DIY Dry Erase Picture Frame

Happy Tuesday!

The fiance and I went to the beach over the weekend and a farmers market.
I had a blast!
I have SO much to share, but need to gather my things together and take pictures. I even purchased things for the giveaway.

Anyway, I put together this dry erase picture frame for my office. It's absolutely perfect and fits so well in my office, I love it. I'm still working on my office, but once it's all put together I will share pictures. {It's SO hard to find time to decorate!}

So this is what we're making today:

You will need:
1.) 8x10 picture frame. Mine was purchased from Joann's for $4.00, but Wal-Mart has them right now for $3.00!
2.) Paper to print on
3.) Ribbon
4.) Dry erase marker

The paper I found on pinterest and you can print from HERE

I just put it in a picture frame and hot glued the bow onto it and tied ribbon to the marker.

Have a great Tuesday night!
I need to catch up on reading blogs!!

Weekend Shopping & Fitting Room Pictures

Happy Wednesday!

I have some weekend shopping pictures for you guys today! :)
I did some shopping at JCPenney because they had 15% off your entire purchase.
Not a bad deal in my eyes.

I am really looking for different bottoms for work.
I have the basics: grey, black bootcut, black flair, black skinny capris, and tan.
And some more. But not many to switch up.
So I was mainly looking for different bottoms but came up short. I ended up purchasing other things that I really liked, but not many work clothes. That's ok, maybe this weekend I will see what I can find. The fiance and I are going to do a weekend getaway trip and maybe I can sneak in some shopping. ;)

I picked up this military vest for only $14.99. I love the little gems on it. It'll go right into the fall as well with a long sleeve shirt underneath it.

Military vest with these floral shorts I also purchased for $14.99.
This outfit just happened. And I actually really like it.

I also picked up a new black tee. $8.99

This black tank is open in the back. Let's see if I am brave enough to wear it. If not I'll return it. $9.99
I was thinking I could wear a bandeau under neath it with a pair of jeans or shorts.

Two new skirts. One maxi for $17.99 and mint color one for $6.99

And last but not least, a chevron tank. $12.99

Needless to say, I picked up two things for work.
But to defend myself, I do have a $50 gift card from my best friend for New York & Company. :P

Have a great night!

Naughty Nautical - Essie NOTD

Happy Monday!

You know, one day I will believe it's a happy Monday. Let's just say it was one of those Monday's, and everything always seems to happen in the morning. Right in the morning, 8:00AM morning. Ahh.
Please tell me I wasn't the only one with a bad Monday? (Besides the fact that it was a Monday!)

Anyway, as usual, I did my nails yesterday.
I used Essie's new nail polish - Naughty Nautical from their new summer collection.
It's such a pretty color and the pictures do not do it justice.
It has a subtle sparkle in the color, it's so pretty.

  Taken with the iPhone.

Here's a picture of what I was wearing to the office today as well.

My new New York & Company lace top & Forever 21 necklace.

DIY Labeled Canisters

Happy Friday!

Let's just say it was a very rough week filled with many things on my to-do list. Not just with work, but with things at the apartment too.
So I am very excited that it is Friday!

Yesterday I got around to printing off my labels for my little canister project.
I bought a set of canisters from Wal-Mart for under $15 and decided to label them.
Who doesn't love labeling and being more organized?

So for this project you will need:
1.) Canisters or any other storage container you'd like to attach labels too. :) And this doesn't just have to be for food, this could be for your craft room supplies, jewelry, etc.
2.) Shipping labels from Wal-Mart
3.) Scissors

These are the containers I bought:

Labels I bought at Wal-Mart. I tried to look for full page labels but I couldn't find them. Maybe they will have them at your local Wal-Mart. Ideally you want full page labels so that your labels won't be cut in half because the separation of the labels. When I printed mine, some were cut off, so I just didn't use them.

Printed labels.

You can find these labels and many more printable labels on my pinterest board. But here's the pinterest link to the ones I used: HERE
There is also blank labels that the website created that you can fill in whatever labels you needed. I wanted Brown Sugar and Cupcake Liners so I simply downloaded the auto fill in labels and labeled them what I needed!

I do NOT take credit for making these labels, just utilizing them! :)

   photo DSC02442_zpsa32d4b76.jpg

I simply just cut around the labels and stuck them on the jars.
And I'm not sure if you can tell from the picture, but the labels cut off at "Coffee and Tea" and thankfully I wasn't using them. But if I was, I would just put them together when I was labeling my jars. That's why I think it would be best to get full size labels.

So there you have it, my labeled canisters/jars.

I also need to tell you that I bought this shelf for $5 at a random sale and painted it white, hung it and then added all these items to decorate. :)
I'm going to do a separate post about it.

Have a great weekend!

Stud Earrings; Current Favorite & Upcoming Giveaway

Happy Thursday!

I'm really loving stud earrings lately.
It's all I wear now.

I feel that I find more stud earrings that I like rather than dangle earrings. Maybe it's just a phase I'm in.
Anyway, I found these little beauties for $1 each at a local farmers market. A farmers market of all places! They were so cheap I had to buy a bunch.

I'd like to do a giveaway soon, but I'm having a hard time deciding what to do for a giveaway.
So I'm turning to you!

What would you like to see in my next giveaway?

Nail Polish Haul

Happy Wednesday!

I have been purchasing nail polish over time and finally decided to share all the nail polish I've accumulated.
I have all kinds from different collections.

OPI has some really nice ones out right now.
I absolutely love the Minnie Mouse collection. I wish I bought more from it. Some of the other colors are all the same, but there's a glitter one I truly one, but can't seem to find anywhere. It's ok, I'll continue my search.

And I always love Essie's collections. :) Who doesn't?

The one on the left is from Bond Girls Collection and the one on the right is from the Wizard of Oz Collection.

I'm wearing the Braziliant color in this photo with silver glitter nail polish. I'm giving my fingers nails a bit of a break from all the nail polish.

Ray Bans

Happy Tuesday!

Two weeks ago these beautiful sunglasses arrived at my doorstep.
I wore them a few times now and it's amazing how much a difference a good pair of sunglasses make when you're out in the sun.

Weekend Shopping

Let's just say it was a Monday. It was one of those Monday's that everything seems to happen at once and no matter what you do something else happens. Let's hope that doesn't set the tone for the rest of the week!
I hope you had a better Monday than I did.

I had a great weekend though!
I also did some shopping.
I didn't get to go to the Vicki's semi-annual sale.. well because I didn't know it was going on! :/ Bummer.
Not like I honestly needed another hoodie.. but still!

So I stopped at a local Vicki's, which is really small by the way. But they had 50% off the lowest ticket, so I picked up two things.

I'm such a sucker for their Pink line. Will I ever get too old for this line?
Probably. Will I stop wearing it? Maybe, but maybe only the things that have Pink all over it. Who doesn't love their yoga pants? Such good quality!
So I picked up a hoodie for $13.49, such fun colors! And I also picked up these awesome skull running shorts for $9.00.
So get your butt to your local Victoria Secrets for their good end-of-sale-sales. :)

I also picked up new hair ties. I always lose mine!

 photo DSC02433_zpsd956dfa6.jpg

I need to get back into running, or working out, or something. Is anyone with me?
I need to do something. I sit in an office all day, with little to no movement.

Also, if you bought anything, I'd love to hear about! What did you buy this weekend, find any good deals?

How do you keep in shape while working in an office setting?

Have a good night.
