Weekend Recap: Baltimore, National Aquarium, OOTD, NOTD

Happy Monday!

We had a fun weekend celebrating my hubby's best friend's birthday! We have been planning this for a couple of months now, so I was really looking forward to it. Plus I haven't been there in 4 years! Amazing how time flies.
We ate good, went to a lot of fun places, and had a lot of good laughs.

Here's the weekend in photos:

Friday:

My hubby & I both worked till 5 and then hit the road. Baltimore is a lot closer to us than Philly or New Jersey, so I don't know why we don't go there more often!
We got there around 8:00 and went to Abbey Burger. We've been there a couple times before and it's so good. You basically get a sheet of paper and build your own burger. It was a lot of fun.

I attempted a turtle on my nail for the aquarium - complete fail. I also used a Five Below nail polish that I have to review.

We stayed at the Marriott in Inner Harbor. I would highly recommend, except that you are right by the stadium and all three days there was Orioles games so traffic was ridiculous.

Build-A-Burger. :)

Seriously amazing, and great atmosphere.

Later that night we picked up drinks for the room and I found this card! How adorable. I didn't buy it, wish someone would buy it for me! :)

Saturday:

If you ever watched Diners, Drive-ins, and Dives you would have saw that this restaurant was featured. It is known for it's Sweet Baby Jesus and Captain Crunch French Toast. I can't get passed the Captain Crunch French Toast to ever try the Sweet Baby Jesus - maybe one day.

Then we were off to the Aquarium!!
I just wore a romper from Kohls and my Wal-Mart jean jacket. It was extremely hot so I figured I'd keep it simple.

Some pictures from the Aquarium.

We were at the aquarium for about 3+ hours. It is so beautiful! The next time we visit we're going to go to the DC Zoo. He says it is HUGE.

 Sunday:

We had an early brunch at the Boat House Cafe. It was right next to the bay and was a beautiful site. He is so lucky to live there! I would love to go sight seeing every day.

For brunch I had the Red, White & Blue. It was a red velvet waffle, with blueberries and strawberry and white syrup. Yummy!

On the way home we stopped at Red Rabbit - a real car hop!

I took a lot of pictures with my camera so I might share those over the weekend. :)

Have a great night!
